9 minutes seems like a long video to say the word "money".

I listened to half of it, Irvin basically saying he's heard that Cooper's personality and competitiveness had something to do with it. Seems like Cooper just rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

Personally I think that's overblown, but I'm pretty aloof myself so I feel like I see that in him.

He’s a talented WR… and FWIW— I didn’t agree with the move to trade him.

That said— this is the second team that has traded him away and lots of whispers about “personality” “competitiveness” “attitude” etc….

So— in the end, they clearly didn’t think he was worth the time or money anymore. It happens.

I think it was a matter of personality, not getting a shot, challenging Dak and money. .
Never thought we should have given a 1st round pick for him, but if we had not, we likely would have taken Calvin Ridley, and he's involuntarily sitting out this year after voluntarily sitting out last year. So it was a wash either way.
But Coop's gone now. No longer our problem.
Coaching is our biggest problem followed by quarterback, offensive line and defensive run-stopping.
Hopefully, we've fixed the offensive line, which will help the quarterback. Maybe Ridgeway plugs the middle.
Then there's coaching, which we'll really not see the deficiencies therein until the playoffs - if we reach the playoffs.

Looks like a vicious circle to me. The milquetoast prior coach wanted the ‘right kind of guys’ and ran off the guys like Dez Bryant, who played with fire and passion. And now a few years later, the team is going out of its way to restock with players like that, because on the football field, nice guys finish last.

that’s why we’d trade you in a heartbeat but no one else wants you

What's incredible is we knew that when we traded for him!

Irvin is an honorary Jones at this point.

He's too much of a homer to take serious.

Agree! What’s worrisome to me is that even if our draft plan is to get these type of guys…they then get ruined after doing things the Jones way. I don’t know If Parsons has but he was showing a little bit of too much talk on social media.

I find it more telling that it's widely regarded that Parsons is the main leader and the dog on this team.

I thought Dak and Zeke was supposed to be that type of person? I guess when a real dog (Parsons) finally walks in it shows everyone who the wannabes are.

The problem isn't necessarily moving on from Cooper. I think one can make a decent case as to why it should have happened.

The crime is the two bozos in charge getting two bags of cow turds for him while comparable WRs later got pretty strong returns. Have we ever "won" a trade since Jimmy left?

Most guys get really comfortable after they get paid. It takes a special player to continue to strive for greatness. I don’t think Zeke or Dak are those guys. We’ll see about Parsons.
