LOL. He’s mediocre.

Amendola? Switzer has bounced around the league and practice squads but the issue here is our FO is too dumb to sign such an up and comer?

Why do our fans fall in love with such lame players?
Not even mediocre. He is probably a borderline CFL talent

I wouldnt mind if he was punt returner

and idc about his attitude, its plenty of nfl players with the same attitude i only care about results

fair catch it, run it if theres daylight, dont do too much, dont muff it and if the ball has a good chance of going into the endzone don't try to field it

do that and idc how much you run your mouth

I read somewhere Pollard has that job locked up for one more year & hopefully Rico Dowdle will be back as another option.

I'd rather bring in "fair catch Cole" Beasely. At least he can play WR.

Cowboys ex-WR Ryan Switzer (27 year old was drafted by Cowboys in 2017) is currently a free agent, and the Cowboys are in need of a punt returner.

Should the Cowboys consider bringing Switzer back for a try out??

What say you?

For me, it’s a hard no. The one good play he had in Dallas was the one in the video you posted against the dead skins. Switzer was actually one of the worst punt returners in the NFL that one season he was here for a very simple reason: he let over a dozen punts hit the ground that were easily field-able.

By letting punts hit the ground, he gave up tons of field position yardage which is critical in the NFL, where field position is critical to scoring opportunities. In addition, Switzer is a one dimensional slot receiver who is too small to put anywhere else, has average speed at best and can’t block.

We can do a lot better than Ryan Switzer.

Who was responsible for drafting him?

Mr. Switzer had rocks in his head throughout his career Dallas.
We never knew what to expect from him. Yikes! :omg:

He did have that one good K return, tho!

He was a KR screwer-upper! :D
