Hoping that there is no red herring, and that sometimes players slip for no obvious reason.

Why did he drop?
1. Played at Florida A&M so competition level is a question
2. The draft rounds have been shorten. Back when the draft was 12 rounds, he would have been picked. Now? Given where he played, teams are more likely to use their low draft picks on players from proven programs. Tackling a back from Winston Salem St. is a wee bit different than tackling a back from Alabama.

You are right he is not a coach but Cowboys did prioritize him as an UDFA with a good payday. at 6'02" Bell provides the size the Quinn looks at. I don't care if it was Mickey writing the column or someone else it was obvious Bell was someone Cowboys wanted and as pointed out 1 or 2 practice does not ensure him a spot, but it doesn't hurt.

The usuals on here chose Mickey to hate on for whatever reason, just as they do certain players. They are like a grade school / junior high school yard bully gang.

Same goes for Jerry, he knows a hell of a lot more about football than most on here do.
Maybe he doesn't study film like a few on here, as to every single player, but he understands the concept of the plays. And has watched at some point on them. Maybe not as much now as he used to.

As now he has art to buy so nobody will look at but his wife.

He was basically saying that the Cowboys had a need at both corner and linebacker and was merely giving the names of the top players at that position.

No he followed up what he felt with what others were saying, he specifically said "if you didn't want to take his word then listen to others"
I listened to his podcast, he was saying take Parson over the corners to Bill Jones and Everson Walls, he also was saying take Deebo when he came out

That makes you ignorant. Mickey was banging the table for Deebo Samuel and Parsons before the drafts. Of course you don't know this because you don't listen to him because you think that he is not insightful. He was calling Parsons a Lawrence Taylor kind of player before he was drafted.
