Since we already have MUCH more than our fair share of rehashed moments of teeth gnashing (even a current thread catering to Eeyore angst), how about one dedicated to those glorious moments of Cowboy triumph?

The Hail Mary vs. Minny?
The first SB win?
Emmitt’s Ironhorse game vs. NYG?
Our 52-17 beatdown on Buffalo?
Zeke’s Steeler-killing TD?
Embarrassing Philly?

What’s YOUR fave?

The first Super Bowl win. I experienced the first two NFL championship losses to Green Bay, followed by two years of the great Cleveland disasters, the joke that was Super Bowl five. Winning Super Bowl six was glorious.

I've been a fan since 1975 - there are far too many moments to mention. The video below, however, was a moment that stamped Dallas' return to glory.

Unfortunately, this was also the last time Jerry allowed a coach to have any control. 30 years ago.....

I'm torn. Either the Aikman to Harper slant in the NFC playoff game that sealed Dallas getting back to the Super Bowl since "The Catch" killed me as a kid. That and it was somewhat a degree of revenge for it.

Or Neil O'Donnell's perfectly thrown pass, err interception, to Larry Brown that sealed Super Bowl XXX for the same reason (losing to the Steelers twice in the Super Bowl as a kid). Honestly there are many so even those two can be replaced depending upon what I am thinking about.

I honestly don't think there is a single player on the current roster who would have protected the Star like George Teague did that day. Drop a few hundred dollars onto the star and they might run over there. Zeke might even reach 25mph trying to get there.
Why would a multi millionaire run for a few hundred dollars? Lol....
You just had to turn a positive thread into a negative one!

The first playoff win against the Eagles in forever was some sweet justice.

That was the one we pounded them back to back weeks right? What a beautiful time that was.

The Romo spin on JJ Watt for a TD strike is one of my favorite all time plays. Working in Houston it was sweet to put their obnoxious fans in their places.

Staubach to Tony Hill to defeat the Commanders and eliminate them from the playoffs while securing homefield for the Cowboys. I have never yelled that long and loudly in any Cowboys victory because it was back when that rivalry was among the greatest in sports history.

Aikman to Harper....put nail in the coffin in a game I didn't expect them to win.....seeing how quiet that stadium got after they were in a frenzy was icing on the cake... Steve Young didn't know what hit him....my favorite Cowboy team.

It didn't happen in the 21st century, I can tell you that.

I think it would have to be the 4th quarter TD pass from Staubach to Ditka during Super Bowl 6. It was the dagger. From that point, I knew my team was the champions for the first time in their history.

A couple minutes later and I saw Tom Landry smile for the first time on a football field.

I’m 65. Funny thing is that I can remember some games from 50 years ago better than from a few.
I'm there.

We used to care a lot more, I think. Then again, there was a lot more to care about.

We kind of had to remember....no cable sports shows, no internet, no YouTube capable of giving you every detail of games and players.

The newspaper sports section, preseason football magazines, and the Dallas Cowboys weekly....that was pretty much it.

I’m in your time frame since the mid 70s and too many to name but off the top of my head

-Robert Newhouse halfback pass to Golden Richards in SB XII vs Denver

-They way we went toe to tie with Steelers and almost pulled it out in SB XIII….one of the few losses where I felt “that was epic”

-Alvin Harper slant from Troy in NFCCG to help get us back to the promised land

-Crushing the Bills

-James Washington fumble recovery to help turn the tide in second Bill SB

There are dozens more
