I'm right there with you Hagman at 68. Your list is a darn good one.

Since we already have MUCH more than our fair share of rehashed moments of teeth gnashing (even a current thread catering to Eeyore angst), how about one dedicated to those glorious moments of Cowboy triumph?

The Hail Mary vs. Minny?
The first SB win?
Emmitt’s Ironhorse game vs. NYG?
Our 52-17 beatdown on Buffalo?
Zeke’s Steeler-killing TD?
Embarrassing Philly?

What’s YOUR fave?
How can you not include Aikman to Harper that one play epitomised Jimmy in a nutshell. The moment was never too big for him. If that play happened today in 2022, ESPN would do a thirty for thirty on the spot. One of the great gutsy, everything on the table moment. 99% of coaches in that moment try to kill the clock and try to get a first down vs go for the win. That happened in the 1992 NFC championship game on the road. Just think and ponder what the NFL was during that time, the definition of risk averse. Man I hate Jerry so much. We had lighting in a bottle, if Jimmy is left alone we win 5 SB’s guaranteed. I know he wouldn’t coach 20 years but 5 was about half of what he should have done.

Staubach to Pearson Hail Mary, followed closely by the Aikman to Harper connection in the 92 NFC title game. Arguably the two most impactful plays in franchise history.

Staubach to Tony Hill to defeat the Football Team and eliminate them from the playoffs while securing homefield for the Cowboys. I have never yelled that long and loudly in any Cowboys victory because it was back when that rivalry was among the greatest in sports history.

This!! The most exciting game, in any sport, I’ve ever seen (except Sean Elliot’s Memorial Day miracle). When rivals are not good, times like those never happen. I miss those days!

I was just throwing out some examples, not listing everything.

Aikman to Rocket

I just watched it again, that play should have been called back. Erik Williams grabbed his guy and pulled him down. He was a penalty machine. Almost as bad as Connor williams. I bet they're related.

I have many....my first is the Hail Mary...another is when a rookie from another team ran between Randy White and Too Tall, during a pre season game.....he was excited and patted them on the back. Randy shoved him into Too Tall and Too Tall shoved him to the ground! Lol! That was awesome..George Teague knocking the crap outta TO is special, because George autographed a TO jersey for me at a BBQ that I held for him, Everson, Larry Brown etc....he signed it...The Defeder of the Star.....I still have it and have posted pics if it on here before....

Spurs never had a lead for 47 minutes and 50 seconds of that game!
Next week will be the 23rd anniversary of that winning playoff shot (May 31st, 1999).

One of my favorites is Kmarts punt return vs the eagles in 1990. It sent us to the playoffs after years of terrible teams and eliminated the big bad eagles.

Anyone remember the Aikman to Harper pass? With a tenuous four point lead in the 1992 NFC championship game & just 4:14 left in the game, everyone expected Jimmy Johnson to give the Niners a heavy dose of Emmitt.

What he gave them was a 15 yard Alvin Harper slant that went for 71 yards, putting the Cowboys on San Frans nine-yard line & setting up the game-sealing score. KARMA!
