A lot of yards (like 400 plus) is not necessarily a good thing. Often it means a QB is in a situation where he must throw on every down because his team is either behind and trying to play catch up OR his team is a high scoring affair where both the defenses are really struggling.

Anyone notice that in that list DAK is the only one who gets trashed by his own fanbase?

What a Gullible Breed
That’s assuming those bashing him here are part of the Cowboys fanbase.

There’s only one person to hold responsible for the lack of success this era. He’s the one constant throughout the last 25+ years.

Knew it would immediately become a thread about how Dak has zero Superbowl appearances.

How sad.

Well you blow the Dog Whistle, you'll attract dogs.

If you balanced it by pointing out that 4 of those games were against teams with winning records, but that the team LOST all 4 in a QB shoot out you'd get a better class of troll.

So what y'all are saying is, some of you think Dak is good and some of you don't!

Mind blown :omg:

Start a thread on it...this has nothing to do with this topic.

And number of 400+ yard games doesn't correlate to winning. So who cares? We are 2-3 in those games (should be 1-4 if not for a brain dead onside kick by Atlanta).

If this team could learn to take care of business at the start of games there would be no need to throw for 400 yards.

Again, good for Dak but honestly it shouldn't even be necessary in the first place have to throw that much.

Dak is 5-4 in those games.
so barely a winning percentage and as was pointed out except for a idiot move by Atlanta he would have a losing record.
So all your spin means NOTHING.

Dan Marino rewrote the record book.

Only morons think that stat is worth something.

LOL, Dandy are you trying to a member of the Horsemen. Pappy and Risen will love this.
Speaking for myself I've always preferred to live in the realm of reality.........others not so much.
Emotions and personal life experiences tend to fog the mind and the truth of the reality becomes unbearable to accept!
6 years 1 playoff win (with probably one of the best offensive rosters in the NFL around him) is all she wrote for Dak our Leader!

ONE.....TWO.....3.....4......ONE MORE TIME.....:oldcouple:

If some of you consider (Under Dak's Leadership) 1 playoff win in 6 seasons a success well you have my fan sympathies!!!

Well Peyton Manning and Drew Brees had the same amount of playoff wins in the same time frame as Dak. Just one playoff win in that same amount of years....

Mathew Stafford didn't have any....

So im curious as to your thoughts of why Brees, Manning and especially Stafford have all struggled in early postseason success, just like Dak.

Now THEY all seemed to turn out just fine, why is there a shorter leash and greater expectations for Dak than those other fine quarterbacks???

I'll wait....

So the "idiot move" doesn't count as a win?

If the defense doesn't let Brady go down and win with less than 30 seconds on the clock, it was 6-4.

Yea , the fact these fans blame or hold the QB solely responsible for the teams success or lack of is similar to how the media hypes up QB’s which is to sell or promote.

There are many good , great players and QB’s who don’t ever win or even play for a championship. But too many fans either don’t have the eye for talent to identify without team accomplishment or are opposing fans or trolling.
