When was it that you lost faith in Moore as OC?

So I watched the video and I didnt hear anything about it. I heard him say "its a priority for him", but what is a priority? You cant hear the questions.
From the 1:10 minute mark through the 1:55 minute mark, Coach McCarthy makes it clear how moving into year 3 his priority is to instill more of his 30 year offensive philosophy into Dak and this Offense.

I haven't. I'm willing to see if lessons are learned.
If not, then faith shall be lost.
I didn’t expect perfection
It’s a job coaches spend years learning so it’s really about what he does going forward
Most OC in the nfl have spent years around other offensive minds learning
He had garrett

He mentions Dak and he mentions his 30 years, but nothing about being more involved or instilling his offense.

Now he says "its a priority moving forward". But I cant hear the question.

Moore was a breath of fresh air in the beginning. The passing game immediately went to the next level after Garrett left and Moore was able to open things up. In 2020 the Cowboys had a record breaking offense before Dak went down at 32 points per game. Even last year despite the inconsistent 2nd half they had the #1 scoring offense in the NFL at 30 points per game and the #1 passing game in the NFL yardage wise.

But for me personally it was the 2nd half of the season when teams made some adjustments and he failed to adjust himself. Now granted the Oline went in the toilet and Zeke got hurt which killed the run game. But once teams went into the two deep zone Moore went into a shell. He couldnt seem to adjust to that. Things got basic again. And the fact that he had the perfect opportunity to bench Zeke for the more dynamic Pollard and didnt, that was it for me.

Is there any hope that he learns from his inexperience and blossoms going forward or is he done?
I haven't lost faith in the OC, it's the QB that concerns me.

What evidence do you have that McCarthy hasn't?

If you and so many others had done some recent research, you would know how McCarthy said 2 months ago how the Offense will have much of his 30 year offense experience included. McCarthy explains that in the first 2+ minutes in this video...

Does that mean they are inserting his offense ?

All that’s saying is it will have his experience . That’s not the same as actually inserting his offense and departing Garrett’s or Moores .

Didn’t Jethro say they didn’t want to change the offense for Prescott. A big part of why he was sold on retaining Moore.

Yep, nothing about instilling his offense.

How about scoring 27 at KC?

you know, the same place Dallas scored 9 points
What about it? Did you watch the game? Do you know how to properly analyze a game and determine exactly what happened and why? Sure doesn't sound like it. If you did know how to, you wouldn't be asking so many ridiculous questions.

Here, watch it again. Maybe this time you will pick up on what you evidently did not the first time around...

No pass protection for Dak. Lots of dropped passes. Zeke was an absolute non-factor. Too many penalties on the Cowboys. Several no-calls against the Chiefs on at least 2 times where they held the Cowboys WRs inside the red zone while trying to score TDs but forced to settle for FGs. Our Defense got both passed up on and run on almost at will.

There. I answered it for you.

What else do you want to know?

Why should McCarthy say exactly everything they plan on doing? That would be giving too much information to other teams. McCarthy said they are going to include much more of what he has 30 years of experience in, and that should be enough.

You make very good points, but neither Moore or McCarthy has the authority to bench Zeke for Pollard. We all know who has the final say in these types of decisions, and that's our biggest problem..

Are you brain dead? Or do you just play?

the entire topic at hand is teams with worse OL play than the cowboys that score more points..I don’t need to watch the game again, I was in the stadium..I saw the embarrassment in person..how about you focus and stay on course

I think you should just go reread the whole conversation buddy. Your brain seems to get stuck sometimes.
“However, I cannot leave Moore blameless for Zeke.”

This doesn’t sound like someone who isn’t holding some responsibility on Moore?

“ Even if Zeke was pushed, which I believe he was, he should have pushed back. “

By who, MM spoke out . Obviously there was meddling going on . Can’t imagine who could override our HC and or OC?

“And NOT getting Pollard more involved has been a 3 years thing, not just one. If Pollard gets more touches and is producing then what is Jerry going to do? “

You really believe Jethro is going to bench the RB he just caved into 90 million play a second fiddle role .

“This is where is inexperience has shown up is dealing with Jerry “

Even experienced coaching hasn’t dealt with Jethro who is going to get his way or the highway.

So, when you aren’t holding Moore responsible your words aren’t conveying that message although I want to believe you know Jethro is meddling.

Sorry to pinpoint you on this but it appears to be a critical point in which in your opening post stated it was something you couldn’t forgive Moore for. Confusing if you don’t hold him at least partially for the decision. Please clarify ..

Are you demented or do you just play?

I'm still waiting for you to name teams with worse Olines who have outscored the Cowboys, including the playoffs.

This season , from Denver game , he couldnt do anything to start some scoring and stop the onslaught.

Also , when ever the run game was working , he tends to go pass pass and pass , and end up losing the game ag times.

Lost?? I never had faith in him
to begin with. He’s a privileged “boy wonder” in my opinion that has no business being an NFL Offensive coordinator. Only possible with this organization.

Yep

Jethro isn’t going to bench his 90 million star RB. Regardless if it’s what is best for the team starting Pollard.

Until the culture changes in Dallas, it is hard to blame coaches. How many more coaches are fans going to trash before fans realize that the problem is with the overpaid, underperforming, entitled players? The only coach that I can’t stand is Fat Mike. He makes terrible in-game decisions on a consistent basis that hurts the team. KM was just great around here last season until players started to fail in executing plays. KM can’t do anything about it until Jerry starts backing the coaches instead of players.

Yea, holding coaches responsible for player personnel decisions is short sighted or naive under this meddling dysfunctional ownership.
