Sad to see.

That being said.....hope I dont get banned, but Barber was inevitably going to get severe brain damage with his running style. I was worried, watching him.
I'm not diminishing your comment as some will certainly experience effects of brain trauma but not all

I'm glad Romo took his time and composed a well thought out tribute. MB III was one of the most talented teammates of Romo's era so I know those words were heartfelt. Barber touched us as fans. Imagine how the guys who played with and coached him must feel. Well said, Romo.

Tony is a class act .Marion Barber will be sadly missed .
He was one of the few players who played old school style football and made you feel like we were actually a dominant physical team.
Not many things have made me proud to be a cowboys fan in the last 20 plus years but he was certainly a player that made you proud.

He gave everything he had on every play and left it all out on the field.

I hope his family has his body checked for CTE
I think watching him most of us think that had to be a major factor. But mental illness effects so many who never play the game at all. I’d like to know but the family may feel differently and what ever they want is what should be done
He was a joy to watch and it’s just so sad to see his life end so young
Nothing you said should get you banned
I think most are thinking the same thing
I’d just love to know for sure because mental illness is such a serious problem in our society

You know it’s crazy because i see all these tributes on TV and online but everyone is avoiding a topic that should be discussed. He was one of the most violent runners I’ve witnessed. Maybe people are waiting for the autopsy to have this discussion…..

I think one thing that can make a good player great is heart. He played with so much heart and desire
As you said he gave it everything on every play and was such a pleasure to watch

All true he was a great player to watch and a great finisher so many times in the last 20 some years I felt like we were a soft team.

But when you would watch him finish off games with a vengeance it made you feel like our team was tough as nails.

It was a great feeling
