Preseason dribble in regards to his health.

Let’s see how his confidence is against the big boys of the league.

I doubt you will ever here Dak or any NFL QB say their confidence is in the dumpster. I am not sure why Dak felt the need to make this statement. Is it an admission his confidence was low at some point last season? Maybe during the second half of the season? Confidence shows up on the field.

it gets tiresome year after year how these players talk about how confident they are then they go out in the playoffs and choke and make stupid penalties to lose games.

Yeah, that is exactly my feeling as well. Your confidence is through the roof after getting embarrassed in the playoffs? I get it that right now you feel great against air ..... but that's not really where you need be confident now is it?

Best shape of his life, bro. Read between the lines.

Or at least he is this off season compared to last year. But I am in a ... want to see it on the field ... mentality more so than ever before.
Talk is talk, so all these talkers need to back it up.
I understand they need to say theses type of things, but after DLaw constantly running his mouth, it gets tiring.

Maybe his confidence is through the roof because they lost to the 49ers better than the Packers did.

Some fans here bragged about that. Maybe Dak feels the same way.

Really, I did not see any of that, or I just forgot the comments, but not surprised it was said.

That is like the school yard bully beating up 2 kids.
Kid 1: He kicked your butt.
Kid 2: Yeah, but he kicked your butt more.

Oh, they still do it randomly, but they were hardcore pushing that narrative after Green Bay lost. There is like a group of 7 or 8 posters that took pride in losing to the 49ers better than Green Bay did. I tend to believe it's the same people that say things like "We went 12-5 and won the division, but you act like we're the Jets!!!!" when you point out the lack of post season success the last quarter of a century.

Some of the more delusional went as far as to day "Dak lost to the 49ers better than Rodgers did" as if those two guys are the entire teams.

We have some truly delusional fans around here.

Not really.

When you had the injury he had, he probably knew he had pain and other issues with his leg that he thought would just be the new norm for him. So he didn't know it would feel as good as it does now.

When you are dragging your leg, it is hard to be confident in abundance.

This is exactly what I took the comment to mean.
Makes perfectly fine sense to me.
Doesn’t seem odd at all given his specific circumstances.

Yes, because you don't understand good playoff football!!!!
Lol. It makes me laugh because you argued against that very statement with #9. That's why it's funny. I don't disagree at all with what you said. The hypocrisy is what is funny. The hypocrisy...

It's an obvious thing to say, but odd to point out about yourself. Shrug.
who else would know this ie the inner feelings of another individual other than the individual.

whats ODD is your response., Dak went through catastrophic injury and got back before game 1 but wasnt that confident wand wasn't feeling great then hurt his shoulder then his calf..hes simply saying after all that hes feeling better then he has in a very long time..

and thats odd how??

I'm not on my computer, so I can't see what post #9 says.

It's a semantics thing, and I didn't understand what he meant at first either.

Confidence is an odd word to use as far an injury recovery, but everything that's said is so micro analyzed these days.....to a very bad fault.

What Dak meant is that he "has confidence that the injury isn't a factor anymore."

I dont think he was boasting overall...and please tell me this didn't turn into a national story.

He should just be totally silent in press conferences.

Reporter: "Dak, how are you feeling going into camp this year"?

Dak "..."
