I thought this would be interesting. Top 4 Cowboys of all time. Probably changes depending on when you grew up. I'm an old guy so some players from earlier are included
-Roger Staubach
-Bob Lilly
-Randy White
-Emmitt Smith
So many worthy players. What say you?
An aside___as I saw the title thread, a thought flashed in my mind- 'whose on the momument and what state is it located?'
My memory kicked in....and I got all five correct. But in the past, I always got the state wrong (chose North Dakota instead of South Dakota).
Back to the topic: As a Dallas Cowboys Fan from nearly the beginning of the franchise, I'm usually indecisive on choosing players in these 'who\what was the best [fill in the blank] category questions.
But I'm I will be adamant about one selection ---- Tom Landry.
Will return later to disclose my other three choices.

Today's players are a bunch of spoiled kitty cats. They don't practice half as hard and would die on the landry mile

Lilly and White would still be dominant players

Spoiled kitty cats.
You are probably right.

Yet, gothic bloke, we sound like old men with tired ideas and strategy tha are8 keeping us nostalgic but blinded to realities of the passing of time.

I believe today's NFL athletes are faster, heavier, more muscled and more steeped in mission than are those from the previous century. I know, Jim Thorpe was a superstar as was Johnny Unitas but they would not make most NFL teams today.

Tha is just the way it is.

Such atrocious grammar and spelling. Well, bloke, it seems that the education that you received there in Farmers Branch isn’t up to snuff. I’m sure that your English teachers did the best with what they had to work with. Perhaps you’re just tired after your long shift at Gas-N-Go?

Heck Runny I'm the last one to be the spelling police but sheesh if we're going to carve their name and image into a Mount Rushmore we better spell Rogers name right

Lol
Oh crap! I can't believe I did that!!...and you forgot the apostrophe.
:muttley:

But crap, that's bad!!!! Wish I could blame autocorrect, but I doubt even autocorrect would screw that up!... I'm actually a little surprised it didn't correct it though, after all the times I've typed his name in...STUPID AUTOCORRECT!!!

Is it close to the Kwik-E-Mart?
