Fun interview

I felt he had a good rookie season and will only get better

Your link isn’t working but if this is the video from the Good Morning Football interview yesterday he was pretty good. The day before was Tyler Badass and I swore I was looking at Travis Frederick. He’s done some good work this off season to get bigger. Two great interviews.

Thanks for the share. I'm a huge OSA fan. The league figured him out pretty quickly after an excellent start to the year in 2021. The guy has the physical tools to be really good in this league, he just needs to expand on his moves and be more than a straight shoot the gap guy. That aggressiveness every play got used against him.

Osa gained a good deal of favor with his offseason work. Hopefully, it might earn him favor in the year to come. His pass rush ability is his forte, but he'll need to improve his ability to anchor consistently. He's young and should be stronger in the year ahead, not that he wasn't already. He'll improve in 2022.

I just mentioned in the other thread that I was watching a Micha rookie season highlight reel yesterday, just to remember his greatness, and what I noticed a lot was Osa penetrating the backfield a ton. Like Aaron Donald type quick. He’s a good get and hopefully will continue to get better.

They over-used him due to injuries to other DTs.
- I think he tapered off more due to 'tired legs' than anything else.
- Rookie's tend to wear down "hit the rookie wall".
- Undersized rookie DTs are even more likely to wear down.

Osa started the season looking like a gem we found in the draft. In the backfield .... sacks ... disruptive ...too quick for OG's. But it didn't last. He faded into just another guy in the rotation.

Still, he was just a rookie, and he showed enough to think there is chance to get better and make a difference. I'm excited to see if he can take a step forward this year.

I think he takes a big step forward this season and could be a difference maker, or helps for the DL to be a difference maker.

Osa looked good early on but disappeared later in the season. We’ll see if he takes the next step this season.
