How about consistently having a winning record out of division?

He can't beat other teams by himself.... it would help to have better play calling and not leading the league in penalties again. It also will help if people like A. Brown stop committing pass interference infractions everytime we stop the opposing team's offense on 3rd down.

It takes a team to win, not one man. There has never been one man in history that has beat 53 others by himself.

nope im 52 was front and center in my mid 20s for the 9er cowboy rivalry in full effect and im clearly stating an opinion you can not prove is wrong noitether side camn ok homie.. not sure who quinten is but im sure hes a fool thinkigyou can try and give Young the same teams romo and Dak had thand ther results are the same and swicth that to haivng dak and romo on our gret 90s team and the 9ers and clearly im betting very similar results happen..

.

Copied from wikipedia and this says it all.

Young was an extremely efficient passer – leading the league in passer rating a record six times, and completion percentage and yards per attempt five times.[2] At the time of his retirement, he had the highest passer rating among NFL quarterbacks with at least 1,500 passing attempts (96.8).

A RECORD SIX TIMES.......he was not just an ok qb on a great team. It is rare to say QB XXXX is great and yet he was never on great teams. The 2 go hand in hand because a team rarely can be "Great," without the great QB.

MR wasnt on the team not been close that Young had..yet was a RS MVP and made a SB give the guy those teams , those coaches they dont miss beat got it yet has it sunk in that those QBs we are discussing were PART OF great teams,...weve seen great qbs on bad teams not have sucess just stats but their play, their talent says they are on the same level of a Young without the opportunity to be on agreat tea,//man you all just have no vision or comprehension skills to follow my viewpoint..

Teams win great teams win championships. some lucky skilled QBs find their way onto those team and ride the wave others didn't get that lucky. speaking of luck the 96 sb win how in the world did that qb play for a steelers SB team..hmm he was sb qb but dude was not great..put dak or romo on that Steeler team we lose that game..well more likely we lose it.

NEXT

you have it in reverse. Broncos team that Manning took to 2 SBs was a good team without him... Manning shows up and they became GREAT. It was because Manning was great, not the other way around. Antonio Brown was the best WR in football for a stretch and then Big Ben got hurt. AB immediately became as avg as avg gets. I couldnt even start that bum in a fantasy game he was so bad. Argument being there are plenty of WRs that would have been great if they played with Steve Young type QBs their entire career.

I have to give to your superior Knowledge on the subject (no sarcasm) From what I saw people wanted Steve Young to be as good as Montana, He just wasn't. He wasn't even the best in his class. Montana was best in his class

Steve Young did posses running skills but there is no comparison to Joe. I hated Notre Dame but Joe was the Man. I didn't like San Francisco, yet Joe was that dude. Steve he was just somebody who could beat my Boys

when it mattered. Heck , would he even have a ring if Jerry and Jimmy could have kept their egos in check ?
Montana would not have beaten those Cowboys teams either.

Kyler Prescott Murray . Resides in Arizona and that franchise has hitched its wagons to him in hopes of going further then one and done in the playoffs .

Doesnt seem to have the leadership qualities. Already holding out on his rookie deal.

Your post deserved no respect or much of a response at all but I was bored.
The fact you think Moon was better says it all.
Clearly you may have watched him but you did not recognize ability. No surprise. Your comments overall show a complete lack of football judgement.

You put Moon on those 49 teams and they still win...Did you ever watch Moon play? He ran a run and shoot system before the league decided to make touching WR a crime...you should watch his throws he was very good.

I've always believed Dallas would have won 4 in a row had Jimmy not left.
Me too.
Jimmy's Cowboys would have committed three straight turnovers that gave the Niners a 21-0 lead. And he wouldn't have needed Deion either.
The Boyz had Young's number.
IMO, as good as Young was, he would have been considered another Dan Fouts had Jimmy and Jerry not bought two tickets to Splitsville. Sigh.

I watched him play but clearly you are so deluded that you think stats tell the whole story. Bottom line is that Moon would never have gotten in if it were not for the added stats he got in the CFL which should not have been so highly regarded by the electors. Young would eat Moon's lunch all things considered equal. Dak might be as good as Moon but I would not bet on it.
But then like Dak moon won no rings.

Comparing Dak to Steve Young was an unfair setup from the start. One was a HOF QB on a SB championship-caliber team, while Dak is simply a good QB on a team that hasn't won a SB in 26 years. The last time was vs. Pittsburgh in 1996.

That's fun to speculate BUT FACT REMAINS, Steve Young COULDN'T beat those Cowboys teams
Woe ate you so far off on how good young was. Just read he retired with the highest rating in nfl history, 2 time mvp, did Roger win any mvp awards?Steve Young was an all ti.e great....GREAT. you must be young.

Actually I've been rolling around this Earth for 60 years, I just didn't see Young as anything other than a great QB, NOT better than Staubach, NOT better than Montana, A great QB.

All stats and Accolades are awards given by Sports writers, ETALS. So there is an opinion other than the POPULAR opinion. You may disagree, but how is that any different from the guys who disagree with

the sports writers ETALS. Steve Young was great anyone can see that. In Montana's league ? Pump the Brakes ! or don't
