I can get past taking a chance in the 2nd....but extending him is unforgivable. Again, not sure how Jerry got a gold jacket. He does NOT know what he is watching. Nothing about the film on Jaylon Smith suggested he should be on the field. Nothing about the film on Jaylon Smith suggested he should be extended. And him sitting home like the rest of us is proof that the rest of the NFL is often laughing at Jerry.

And you can throw Garrett in this category as well. He went from the 10+ years of comfy security in Dallas. To coordinating the 2nd to worst offense in the NFL the next 2 years...to out the NFL entirely and in the the USFL booth after that. And this is someone Jerry assured us would have more offers that he could manage if Dallas did not retain him.

Either Jerry has incompetent people in his ear...or he is making decisions sitting in a dark room. Lastly, the Mike McCarthy signing is quickly turning into a big miss as well.

Sorry for the rant. I just cannot understand how someone refuses to try another way after 25+ years of ineptitude.

I really don't understand why he had such a dramatic fall-off. He actually played at a Pro Bowl level, which is why he got the second contract, but then just seemed to get lost. I don't think the physical changed as much as the mental.
