Moore and Dak hinder this team on offense

Name me one game KMoore has outcoached the opposing coaching staff......please! While many are upset that Zeke, Dak, Amari, DLawrence have gotten paid.....KMoore is "stealing" money and accolades, just the same for the production rendered.

Completely agree. You can blame Dak and other players, but the play calling is trash. What has Moore added to this offensive that is better than what we had. Our scheme is trash and predictable. This is insanity. I keep watching the offense and expect to see creative stuff. The Cowboys went into this season with issues on the OL and WR and we just keep running the same plays that we have for years. No wonder defenses look good against us.

This year is going to be another wasted year. I almost think this is planned. Clean out more contracts (Zeke) and coaching staff.

There are some things Dak excels at and some things he doesn't. Same with a lot of the team's offensive players. It's Moore's job to develop plays and schemes that take advantage of those strengths. Moore doesn't do that. He goes with these long-developing plays that would do fine with a QB with different strengths than Dak.

This is mostly on Moore.
Yep. You have no WRs and a banged up OL, but let's keep trying to put 5-7 second developing plays in.

I don't know which of the two refused to throw downfield, but whomever it was crapped the bed last night and gave us no shot. Common sense says both had a hand in it. The way TB just sat in the middle zone killed us and nothing we did caused them to do anything else. Even if you miss on a deep ball or two you open up the defense. I was assuming it was more on Moore, but the way Rush threw downfield a couple of times once he came in makes me think it was probably more Dak. You can't win in the NFL playing like that unless you have WRs that can win one on one battles consistently.

Heck, I'll kill Quinn a little too even though I love him. When a team runs all over you and you still play 2 LBs so often that doesn't say much for your in game adjustments. This of course after seeing it all last year and in particular in the playoff game.

Exactly right. People around here act like Dak is Baker Mayfield, while the front office acts like he's Pat Mahomes.

Reality is Dark is a decent QB who needs help. Especially since his ankle injury. Why the team decided to make the talent around him worse, not better, is anybody's guess.

My guess is, they had an ulterior motive, sabotage MM to get SP

Noah was our best receiver last night. Shultz looked primed. Tyler held his own. And Zeke was picking up yards.

Lamb, Pollard, and Steele weren't rock solid. Farniok and Badiasz had a couple of hiccups.

Our small defensive line got taken advantage of. Brown didn't look good. LVE is still a better cover guy than a run stuffer. Tank made what, one stand out play the whole game? Where was the defensive rotation we've been hearing about?

Diggs showed up to play. Parsons was a beast rushing the passer. Wilson was our best safety that game.

Why the hell are we going after punts when we have one of the best punt returners in the NFL? We should be putting the return on. Give Turpin a chance to do something special.

The running game and personnel decisions made no sense, they literally switched up RB every possession. They ran with zeke and passed with pollard, who is not a great blocking back. If you are going to leave a talented back like pollard in the backfield to pass pro....., who is calling the plays Scott Linehan.

Fixed it for you. As to going after punts the offense was pretty inept they were trying to get a play that hopefully woke up the team.

They've gave up first downs a couple of times from going after punts last year. I'm tired of seeing it. I'd rather we give our returner a chance he could wake the team up with a good return.

I would agree, but the offense never got out of bed in the game, also the tape on the TB punter is he takes a long time to punt. At that point the team needed a shot in the arm if blocked punt happened that might have done it.

Moore is calling plays for a NFL QB, not a washed up has-been that can’t throw an accurate 6 yard pass.

problem I have is how Zeke was used. Pollard is schemed too much into the offense.

The play calling, designs and executions take way too long to develop. Double reverses and stupid fakes that set up 4 second screen passes are terrible calls and designs. Just look at the difference between how TB played. It's pathetic and this team will go nowhere.

pick any QB and OC combo ever and put them behind this line and watch the same train wreck happen. Not a fan either of either guy but when your offseason moves are so bad you have people speculating whether or not you're doing it on purpose you have a problem. The bargain bin OL and WRs are a much bigger problems but our biggest is a FO that thought we would be ok with either
I half agree with you. This Offense has been the same since roughly 2007. We have had really good skill position players and watched Romo lead a #1 offense but crap defense for 12 years after that. Now our D holds the Bucs O to only 19 points, something I bet not many will do this year, and fall flat on O. The defense kept us alive in this game and will need to carry us to a wildcard, because our coaches can’t offensive scheme anything. KM should still be a QB coach and we should have a coach with something better than plain rollouts and hook patterns every down.

Yeah, I am out on Moore. I have seen enough of him and his play-calling. Those junk plays he calls at the worst times are what losers do when they have nothing else to lose. He gets too cute for his own good. And at what point does the OC take responsibility for the penalties on his side of the ball? 4 false starts!?

The offense looked really rusty and unprepared last night and it is not the Tyron Smith injury.

Let me throw a wet blanket over the Dak contract discussion.

To act like this isnt a team sport and to act like market rates arent a thing and just griping about Dak and his contract is what someone who doesnt run a football team would do.

Dak's play, numbers and winning percentage at time of his last contract caused his market value to increase EVEN IF YOU PROPHETS KNEW HE WAS TRASH. Doesnt matter. Why? Because QB is an important position and teams overpay for acceptable at the position. Why do they overpay for mediocrity? Because its hard to find acceptable at the position and its a team sport. Cowboys went through like 14 QBs and many years between Aikman and Romo. Cowboys dont want to waste other star team players careers(think Zach Martin and Tyron Smith) by playing moneyball at QB.

Bottomline is Daks play and numbers propelled his value. Jones Boys decided to pay him instead of risking him walking and spending 5 more years looking for an acceptable QB. You can argue that they should have paid Dak 30M a year earlier or argue that he sucks....whatever you gotta do to be negative...but its just not as cut and dry as playing moneyball with a QB.

Now you know why their playbook is dumbed down. Otherwise, #4 wouldn't be able handle it.

Mahomes, Allen, and Herbert all have stacked teams. You do not compete for a SB without a stacked team. The Chiefs lost a top 3 WR and replaced him with 2 very good WRs and kept their OLine at an elite level. Look at the OLine and weapons for the 3 QBs you mentioned and can you really say that they are not better than Dallas? Obviously the QBs are as well but you do not win in the NFL without a good QB and talent around him because a good QB and nothing else gets you nowhere.

^This. Even Rodgers looked like crap without good WRs yesterday.

Jerry and Stephen hinder the team.

They CHOSE to run out that OL last night. They CHOSE that gaffe of WRs.

THEY chose to give Dak that contract when they could've used the NON-EXCLUSIVE Franchise Tag on him to see what other teams thought Dak was worth, basically negotiating against themselves for a player that only played 5 games the year before. The list of of things THEY have done wrong could on for awhile...

Dak isn’t mahommes, Brady, or even Herbert

dude could win a super bowl but like others have said he needed a strong team around him

last night reminded me so much before we traded a 1st round pick for Cooper and the narrative was that dak just needed a #1 wide out and he would be elite… what do ya know get rid of Cooper and dak returns to looking absolutely awful

Look at Aaron Rogers yesterday without Adams--and that a Hall of Fame QB.

Cap Boy took an already offense team and nosedived it into the ground.
