Tyler Smith has line up against two of the best pass rushers in the NFL his first two games

They aren’t top tier. Here’s his week 1 line:

“allowed a sack, two quarterback hits and a hurry”

The dudes from the first 2 weeks don’t crack the top 10. I love Smith but he’s a mauler best suited for G with his current skill set. Hope he proves me wrong long term.

Tyler Smith is competing every play. That is great to see from a rookie or any player tbh. Hopefully he continues improves week to week. If so, he definitely will be a stud in the League for years to come. Happy with how he's played so far.

He gave up pressure one time that I saw and Rush got it out...thankfully.

I can't wait to watch the film....i was hisitant to put him at LT but love how he is dominating out there. Even when they run the ball...he is blasting people into the secondary. It is amazing.

Tyler has been handling what ever has been literally thrown at him just fine. Yeah he played LT at Tulsa but from OTAs through most pre season they had him inside. I sincerely doubt he played anybody of Barrett or Hendrickson quality at Tulsa. Honestly I thought one of his best moments today was sealing off and getting movement on that load Reader.

He's likely the best guard and tackle on the team. It depends on what the team needs. Today, they did just fine with him at LT.

Barrett was tied for 14th in the league last year (15 games) and did NOTHING against him.

He's decent but I'd like to see the game tape. I thought DJ Reader pushed Farniolk around a few times. Steele was great though and it's a very promising start from Tyler Smith.

He isn't doing either now.

You can say he is a good run defender, but the one play i saw him make today, he wasn't blocked. Like last week's play.

Those dudes are middle of the pack DEs and he was bad first game and mediocre second game.

I like the kid but he’s got a long way to go technique wise if he wants to hang with top tier rushers.

I don't put Henrickson and Barrett as top tier but they're definitely good and got to give props to Tyler Smith for that. For me the top tier of edge rushers are all DPOY candidates and include:
1. Micah Parsons
2. Myles Garrett
3. TJ Watt
4. Khalil Mack
5. Joey Bosa
6. Max Crosby
7. Nick Bosa

I think Barrett and Hendrickson are in the next tier of players.
