I'll tell you what - When the offense comes off the field, I actually get a bit excited to watch the defense play. When's the last time that happened? I'm not saying this is necessarily the best D we've had since then, but the Doomsday Defense is probably the last time I've felt that way.

It has been a long, long time since I’ve see a defense in Dallas like this. They’re really good and will continue to grow as the season goes on.

I’ve seen the Dallas D go whole games without a TFL or a sack. Now, I’m disappointed if they don’t have one on every drive.

Parsons is just unreal, the coverage is better than it has been since… I don’t know when, and the safeties are really good.

Keeping Brady and Burrow contained is incredibly difficult. When this defense isn’t facing one of the best QB’s in the league, they really will keep the score down. 19 to Brady and 17 to Burrow… in this offensive explosion era is just about impossible.

You don’t have to have an offense that is lighting it up as long as you have a defense like this one.

As a long time defensive guy… I have really missed this.

I still worry that any team with a good OL can just maul our DTs. IMO we are one dominant DT away from being an elite, Top 2-3 defense.

What makes it more impressive is that they did this with our offense being bad. That's a sign of a real good defense.

Randy had a sack today. Plus another FF.

Gregory was critical component of the Cowboys being #1 in takeaways last season.

Cowboys should have re-signed him so he could keep doing what he does so well - for DALLAS.

That's the whole reason I've been excited about this team. We even have a few new players that we haven't seen yet, who fit in nicely.

I love defensive football.

This defense is gonna keep us in games until we get our footing on offense. Next week's game will determine if we are contenders or pretenders

I’d say the Rams game is a more likely indicator. Next week just determines if this team will be in the hunt for an NFC East title.

But Cowboys back 7 and front 7 are capable of playing with any team right now.

As a person that loves defense, this is exciting. While I did find myself a bit annoyed at them letting the Bengals drive the field there at the end, I had to remind myself that they were on the field basically the entire 2nd half. Drives will happen. It's part of football, but when was the last time we have seen Dallas just harass a QB? I don't care if the Bengals don't have an amazing Oline. In previous years, bad Olines looked Pro Bowl against Dallas defenses.

Quinn has been an amazing hire, but he is as good as gone next year unless he takes over for MM.
