If you get a chance to hear Michael Strahan's interview with Dan Patrick from today, you should check it out.

He calls Eric Williams the meanest player he ever played against and says "The Preacher", Reggie White, wanted to fight Williams every time they played each other.

Fun to listen to.

I remember Erik once tossing the enormous SF Ted Washington (who played north of 350) literally in the air. Washington landed awkwardly and breaking his leg. 1994 off season was as bad for the Jimmy fiasco as the Erik Williams car accident.

He had a nasty spit/spray after drinking water! Ha!

Dude had an attitude on the line, the good kind.
We need somebody like that with that attitude on the line. We don’t have a vocal leader on the oline. I remember reading/hearing that Leary brought that attitude to the line that Williams brought to his line and that’s truly when we became dominant with Martin Frederick and Smith

My sister-in-law was out shopping with her seven year-old son when they saw Erik Williams sitting in his car talking to a guy standing next to the driver's door. She sent the seven-year old over to get his autograph. Williams told him to get the ... away.

He took mean to another level.

I watched R-White tap out of a game after going heads up with Williams! The announcer was giving Reggie all this love and saying how great he was as Williams was beating AND clubbing White on EVERY play. When the camera was put on White going to the sideline you could tell he was a beat man. I don't think he returned to the game, which was funny because he didn't have any injuries except for the pot marks on his head..................Ha-Haaaaaa!

I had lunch with him a few years ago...he let me wear his SB ring. Very nice person. Hell of a player!

Reggie may have wanted to fight Erik Williams but it was Big E who took the fight to him every snap all the way to the whistle.

Erik was a former boxer and went medieval on anyone lined up across him with those heavy hands.

That’s weird to send a child over to a grown man by his lonesome. I probably would’ve been in comfortable with that situaiton too and told the mom about herself for that
