That drive in the second quarter. He dropped a easy TD. Rush saw it and hit him wide open. Lamb had a bomb of a TD a year ago and on the sidelines he said if it’s easy catch and he thinks about it then it’s trouble. If it’s a hard one he is good. But he dropped that one and another easy catch on the same drive.

If you keep going to him he will make up for it with a amazing play. He is worth the trouble but will he be worth the money later when it’s contract time. He is gonna want a pile of cash..Does JJ pay him. He could be the best slot WR ever but what do you pay him. 12-15 a year..

Plenty of time evaluate that question. It wont be 12-15 it will be more like 25-30 million by the time his contract is up.

Personally, I would never pay any WR 30 million.

That drop could've cost them the game, but his play in the second half went a long way toward winning it.

I was glad to see him bounce back, forget about the drop, and make plays (including a great TD catch).
I think I saw something turn in Him . . . I expect to see more clutch catches and less drops that TD drive and His 4th down catch were clutch

He definitely shouldn't be anyone's number one guy- way too many drops. Yes, he's fine as the second receiver to a guy like Coop, or the slot man, agreed. If I remember right, Dez had an awful lot of drops too - and he became a good receiver. Lamb could still correct this. Until he does, like to see him shut his mouth. Nothing worse than a bragger who doesn't back it up.

I agree. He relaxed in the second half and made some good snags..

He almost cost us the game last night. Don’t know if he has a problem with focus or he has inconsistent hands. Can’t see how he could allow a perfectly thrown ball to go right through his hands then come back and make an acrobatic one-handed grab for TD in the end zone. It’s perplexing as to what the issue is with him.

He also had a play in the 3rd quarter that he should have fought for. Good coverage but he really didn’t try. Was a deep pass. Tolbert almost had a deep pass he could have laid out for..

What alot of fans are failing to acknowledge with Ceedee is that he has come up clutch his entire career here. Think of almost every final scoring drive in which we are trying to get in position to score. He has come up with huge plays to help move the chains.

-Tampa game last year

-Patriots game

-Falcons game his rookie season

-SF game

-Cincy

Hopefully that drop, will actually be the making of him.
He knew he made a howler of a mistake, but after it he played lights out and was a huge part of us winning.
He needs the intensity he showed after it, for the full 60 minutes… If he’s learned from it then he can become the WR1 we hope he is.

Nice that he shook it off and contributed big time in 2nd half.

He has a history of the dropsies.

He doesn't run crisp routes nor does he or hasn't shown any separation and elusive moves. Just my opinion.

Still, he's a good weapon to have.
