I hear this lots from leaders in business who justify why they have to be at every business meeting, ever public function, do every speech on behalf of the company.

The question I always come back to these people in the C-Suite is, with all the activity that you state that you have to do and the reasons that you do it, has it resulted in better success for the organization over a period of time?
