Dak has played pretty darn well against a couple top teams here.

Granted the Giants had a lot of injuries but they were still 7-3

But I am also in agreement with McCarthy he said after the game that they had a lot of stuff to clean up and it would start on Monday.

Dak has to become more consistent for us to do well in the playoffs. We can get by bad and injured teams with inconsistencies but it will cause us to really struggle in the playoffs where everybody is good.

But for him to be consistent he can't be put behind the chains with these penalties constantly. Why are we having all these false starts in our own stadium.

Why is the coaching staff continually using 4th down on our side of the 50 as some type of a game plan. Failing there changes the momentum of the game. And create situations that are hard for our quarterback to overcome.

Dak has the talent to take us further but this coaching staff has to do a better job of putting him in a position to succeed by calling the right plays and installing some discipline that doesn't make him have to overcome continual penalties.

The difference in Daks performance in the Packer game and this game is that Although both games had him throwing 2 picks, the Qb didn’t go into a shell in the 4th quarter and get shut down. He kept the chains moving and the offense scored which is exactly what we’ve been wanting.

regardless of their 2 starting corners being out, the offense got it done and the domination was far better than the score indicated

yep moving the chains and keeping the ball is all we are asking of the offense, the defense is the game-changer.

the scary part is that the Giants are supposed to be in rebuild mode AND had numerous injuries and are still very competitive
yep, if Lurch Jones could have slowed himself down it could have been closer. They went away from the run too fast too, but our defense was playing well like usual.

Nobody will probably talk about this but I saw Dak throw a block on Jalen Smith when Zeke ran for 16 yd and I was ecstatic.

That is the old Dak that I love to see.
Dak is a big physical player and I love to see him use his legs move the chains and use that physical power he has to our advantage

I don’t mind 2016 Dak throwing a block, but I’m hesitant to see 2022 Dak throw one

In a playoff game sure….but not in week 12. High risk, low gain

I know you guys don’t want to hear this but Dak had some balls that were high. The WRs were a big part of that success today and yes, Dak was very good in the second half and looks a lot better compared to the first part of the year.
Dak played well enough to win the game today in the second half. This was a day we were not going to win with the run game and defense. Those high passes are often dictated by the defense. The one to Ferguson was a result of making sure it was lobbed over the LB who was in the path. The high passes to Gallup were in tight coverage….I cannot say they were intentional or by accident (no one can), but I know the DB was on Gallup’s back and swatting as he tackled him. It those passes are on his numbers, they get swatted away. Don’t just look at where the pass is caught. Look at where the defender is. You also have to look at where the extra defenders who show up late are coming from on passes across the middle or sideline. Some passes that are thrown behind receivers and fans lament “if only he’d hit him in stride” don’t pay attention to the guys who run in, pulling up just as the guy is tackled. Often those passes are avoiding an INT or having your guy get blown up. Miscommunication between receiver and QB are similar…..the receiver is running against his defender and looking back for the ball. The receiver doesn’t always see other factors that the QB sees.

Dak played a great second half and controlled the game, but I have no idea why anyone would try to defend his first half or past games. The guy isn’t perfect. There’s no reason to defend him when he plays poorly or makes bad decisions, and there’s no reason to blast his entire career for it either.

Their injuries are in secondary and the Oline their front 4 can get after you
One of the best in the business . It’s my hope that they put the hurt on hurts

I think he’s the best on the move. Of any quarterback in the league
As long as He doesn't get into His own head He can do a lot of things. . . I was expecting the same ol same ol where he folds after struggling . . . But He didn't . . . Some of His passes were high but they were not behind the WR (Like the dropped pass by Jones to Barkley)

Its only 1 game but I believe everyone can change . . . Sometimes we just get stick in a rut . . . With this team Dak (If something did click) can win it all

Was a rough first half, for sure. When he's on though, we look hard to stop.
Like I have been saying His problems are Mental . . . I saw something different . . . I lost faith He could get that aspect under control . . . After last nights game I am becoming a believer

If I see that Movie carry over next Game I will be much delighted

people who think Dak played lights out are the same people that cheer when we make the playoffs and find all sorts of excuses when we are one and done.
He stunk up the joint 1st half and did play lights out the second half . .
Its a fact

3 of those INTs were not Dak's fault, but you keep on with your Dak hatred baloney without proper context.
But all 10 of the TD’s were absolute dimes? So he gets credit for every TD but only some of the blame for the terrible interceptions? He’s been this inconsistent for 6+ years now.

I hear your point on that brother we definitely don't want him getting injured but this was a pretty important game in my opinion with a division opponent that we were tied with.

This win gives us a leg up if there was any tie at the end with the Giants which is always a possibility in this division.
