If Shultz walks, what is your level of confidence in Ferguson and Hendershot

Need to see Ferguson in more blocking scenarios but I have no problem moving on from Schultz. But if you told me we lose Schultz and Pollard without any clear replacement weapons on offensive then I’m getting irritated

High confidence in those two but I do like Schultz a lot too. He and Dak seem to have some chemistry. Love to see us keep all three but hard to imagine giving Schultz what he might get elsewhere.

Fully confident in Ferguson.

Schultz has great chemistry with Dak so I’d try to keep him but nowhere near what’s he getting on the tag.

Use the money to help the run defense or WR room.
Sign pollard. Dude doesn’t have the wear and tear of other running backs and is just a threat overall.

Schultz money is going to help retain Pollard.

TP should at very least be franchised next season.

No room for Schultzie. But Cowboys will find another Schultz type player in draft or FA.

Ferguson & Hendershot will get expanded roles next season. And well deserved.

I'm sure after more playing time this year and a full offseason, Ferg can step into Shultz spot and we wouldn't miss a beat, but i have that feeling Shultz will test the market, wont garner the level of interest you think he would, and will be brought back. Like how we did with Kearse.

The future is bright with these young guys at tightend. I have 100% faith in Ferguson and Hendershot going forward. I just wish the Cowboys were as good at picking wide receivers and defensive tackles. Shultz should be able to land a decent contract elsewhere and we need to spend that money elsewhere.
true, but if dak wants shultz and lobbies for him, they will keep him.

Schultz makes plays, I'll give him that. But so do Ferguson/Hendershot and they look more explosive doing it. With McKeon still around as well I'm fine with those 3 going into next season. This is one of the places where we're going to have to save money.

I dont think Schultz is going anywhere. I think he is playing right where the contract the Cowboys want to sign him.

When dak is uncomfortable Shultz is still the guy talk will look to. Not so sure he is gone.

Neither does what Shultz does in terms of a legit route runner pass catcher TE. Case and point the 7 route Shultz catches for a TD taking the lead Thursday. The VARIETY we have at TE is awesome but I don't think we have an elite pass catcher outside of Shultz.
