What you don't seem to get is JG when hired, was praised by many in the media and by Judge. Typical honeymoon period BS. Just like KM is right now. That could all change once KM starts working as the OC. Just like JG. Nobody will know how he will turn out in LA until after a season or so.
No, what you don't seem to get is Jason Garrett only got a job because of Mara and the decision was forced by ownership. On the other hand, Moore had zero ties to San Diego and they asked a week back they wanted him. Carolina wanted to interview him for a HC positions, just like he had interviews last year and Boise State interviewed him for the HC position and TB was actually interested in him after Byron Leftwich was fired. Moore mutually parted ways from Dallas, because he wanted out and Jerry most likely allowed him with one year left on his contract, as he also has ownership rights in the CHargers box seats.

Are you JG or Mara? Unless you are JG or Mara, you don't know for sure how he got the job. And JG also got interviews for HC job when he was just the OC.

And who cares how he got the job. The point I was making was JG's hiring was praised by many just like KM's hiring is praised by the many right now. And that doesn't mean anything until we see how KM does in LA for a season or so. He could be the next genius, or he could end up being fired like JG.

How do you know how Garrett got the job from Jerry Jones? LOL, the article I stated specifically mentioned the ties to Mara and this was know in NY. Jason Garrett was rendered obsolete after 3 years, his body of work really based on 1 year when Sparano was baby-sitting him. EVen when rumors were the Rams were going to hire Garrett, their FO was inundated with phone calls of anger. Nobody wanted him except Jerry. Moore on the other hand, multiple teams continually are interested in him.

Great move for KM! He has a very talented QB with a legitimate RB and WRs with an aggressive HC. As a bonus…a non-meddling owner!

As I said, who cares how he got the job. The point is he got the job and was praised by the media and Judge. That all went to crapper once he started work as the OC.
KM's hire is getting praised now, just like how JG's hire was praised before working as the OC. That could all go to crapper also, but no one will know until end of the season.

Why are having so much difficulty understanding this simple concept. Are you that naive to think KM will automatically do well just because his hiring is getting praised now?
Go look at what they were saying about Hackett last year when he was hired? How that turn out?

The point is Dak zealots tried to argue that Moore wouldn't even have a job in the NFL and that only Jerry would hire him. You brought up Garrett to support your point, but the fact of the matter is Garrett wasn't respected. He got no offers outside Mara, who is like Jerry to Garrett. But even Mara couldn't justify Garrett to NY, with such an abysmal performance. Moore on the other hand got an opportunity to work with the most promising QB in the league and the organization asked to speak to the Cowboys a week before. And Moore had multiple requests from teams that had no personal affiliation with Moore.

Wow you must be either Floaty or another Boise alum KM fanboi.

And you are actually making the point for me. Even though JG sucked bad, he was praised when hired by the Giants. Yet he was fired after one season. Just because KM is getting praised doesn't mean anything until we see how he does for a season or so.

Guess wonder boy was a genius. Got a job here with basically no coaching experience, made a name for himself, saw that Dak was ruining his coaching career. Ask to get out of here and then got a job with the chargers with better weather and qb.

Well considering they haven’t played each other in the playoffs, then yes. Your whole argument doesn’t even make sense…
The argument was Chargers will never beat Mahomes in the playoffs. To get to the SB you have to go through them. We'll agree to disagree.

If true I wish Moore well. He will get to run an offense that wants to throw it 50 times a game and is constructed that way. I think he'll do just fine. Though he may find it a little more difficult to call plays when the line is every worse than the one in Dallas. Still he's gone from Dallas.. and I am happy about that. Just hope the Cowboys don't screw up the replacement hire. Find a guy who can run an offense that maximizes what Dak does well and allows you to run the ball more than 3-4 times a quarter in tight games.
.....then we need to shore up the OL play too. We need an OL that has bad intentions.

No, it wasn’t. The original comment was “They will continue to finish 2nd in that division for a long long time.”

And pointed out that they can still win the Super Bowl if they finish in a wild card position and you got your shorts in a wad.
