- Mingo is my #1 target. Id give up a 3rd to get him too. Legit #1 potential. Moving up for him would be like moving up for Dlaw in 2014.

-LaPorta is probably top on their board. Would they trade up for him? Hard to say considering they talked up TE depth.

- I think Musgrave is a real possibility at 58

- 3rd round is really hard to call, but I think it could he a HB round for them. Spears maybe

- I wonder if they pull the trigger on Charbonnet at 58. He is the type of back they have been talking about targeting

- Drew Sanders is another guy to watch at 58. Could slip because he will only fit some teams. Would they do D&D though?

- Bergeron was a guy talked about as name for the Cowboys yesterday along with Avila

I am loving the talent still available. I was scrolling through the big boards this morning and going like "I like him, Levis LOL, like him, like him, like him..."

I don't think Dallas can really screw this up. There's like 20 good players and 25 picks in front of us. It's going to work out.

I agree on Mingo, I think, but it's might take a lot to get him.

I know that the trade value charts aren't everything, but by the math, 58 and 90 doesn't get you into that 35-40 range.

I am not buying the media hype on LaPorta and Dallas. I think they had Kincaid #1 but yet some in the media were hinting LaPorta was their top guy.

Not trading up
Give me Avila/Torrence/Schmitz at 58
Yeah.

I like Mingo. But again, any WR you take right now is the 4th WR for now. If everything goes as planned (no injuries, for example), your 4th WR would play less tahn 150 snaps.

Now, Mingo at 58? Sure. But giving up a third rounder, which could still net you a really good guy (such as an OG or TB), to chase a WR in the 2nd is not something that interests me.

I love Mingo but I ain’t moving to get him…if you miss out you still got great options like Downs, Hyatt, Mims, Scott, Dell etc…

I'd like to go IOL (Avila for example), TE (hope LaPorta is there or Mayer slips even further) or Edge (Sanders) in the 2nd.

Then come back in the 3rd with a TB (Evans, Spears although that might be high for him) or IOL (if you don't go OL at 58 such as the kid from LSU) or maybe then WR.

I also wouldn't be opposed to them double dipping at DT. I know, I know.

I'll throw one of our late round picks to move around, but I am not trading a 3rd round pick to move up into the high 2nd round for a TE or a WR. Seems silly to me with the needs you still have.

3T is pretty weak this draft. But I can see them looking at Byron Young (Bama) in the 3rd or 4th. Will never be a star, but will come in and be a solid all around player that can move around the line a bit. Reminds me of Shelby Harris

Huge fan of Young!

I am guessing we go offense to "balance the ticket" and appease those coaches. Plus receiver is still a huge need.

My shot in the dark.... we go Tank Dell.

We really can't screw it up though. By my count, I'd say there is

1 QB worth our 2nd round pick (I hate Levis, and even I'd take a dart throw at #56)
2 RBs worth the pick (Charbonnet, and I like Izzy)
4 WRs (Hyatt, Dell, Mims, Mingo)
4 TEs (Washington, LaPorta, Mayer, Musgrave)
5 OLs (Dawand, Torrance, Schmitz, Avila, Bergeron)

I think part of the reason we took Mazi was because of the strong possibility of one of the TEs being there with our next pick, so I think that's where we'll go unless they all get scooped up. I think it's been made clear that LaPorta is the one we want, but we may end up having to take a different one if other teams are as high on him as we seem to be. I won't be surprised if we end up with Tucker Kraft instead.

I can't believe that. Swift is like 95% of Jahmayr Gibbs, and they pick Gibbs #12?
I am generally curious what Detroit would take to trade him. I am not sure he's lived up the hype coming out but he is a real threat in the passing game.

Looking it up, he's got 1 year left on his rookie contract. So I'm guessing not much. 4th or 5th rounder probably... even a 4th feels rich.

It's time to add some juice to the offense: WR/TE/RB/OL. Sanders is the one defender I think they are high on though.

Believe LaPorta sits on top of their TE grouping. Receivers they have been linked to: Mingo, Hyatt, Downs, Tillman

All the Guard have to be also in play: Avilia, Torrence, Bergeron*.

All the dallas draft show guys believe they love LaPorta.
