You are right about that. But as far as wins and losses go, it's the other way around.
Yeah, I think that's true.

You can't compare what happened between times. There is no way to say which of those greats are the best. But, it's really nice to have the one that we have.
The problem with Romo is that...he wastes to much time with Candice! Romo's mind is not right, now. He has no smarts, he is rich, and, he is the QB of the Dallas Cowboys! Stay away from him...
Where does this stuff come from? I mean, seriously, I don't understand it.
Yes and no IMO. Yes, in that Coach Landry and Jimmy were oriented towards very balanced Offenses. They played much more into Field Position and other concepts that lend themselves towards helping the Defense but not necessarily providing the Offense with more opportunities.
No in that Tony, under Phillips and Garrett, not so much. Basically, while not as accomplished coaches, Tony has benefited from having much more control over the Offense then he would ever have had under Jimmy or Coach Landry and much more opportunity to throw. Statistically, it's helped him a lot IMO.
Aikman is really hard to rank and judge because he really never had to do much here besides hand the ball off.
Epic fail of a post. Actually one of the worst posts I've ever read.
The rules today help ALL THE QB'S. That is just a fact. It more like flag football than ever before in terms of throwing statistics. It often looks like a 7 on 7 drill. If pass interference had been called in Aikman's time the way it is today, if they couldn't have hit him above the shoulders, etc. etc... who knows?
To me there has been much more change in football from the 90's until now (in terms of helping offense) than any time between the 70's and 90's.

this type of crap needs to be ban worthy. i've never seen a site with so many posters that disrespect the legends of their favorite team. you romo stans seriously make me sick when you say stupid **** like this to prop up your stat boy. did you forget the championships?

Well, we don't ban people for being stupid and I'm not saying anyone here has posted anything stupid. Just replying to the idea of banning.
This new era of fans don't deserve a championship. Disrespecting Aikman.

After last week's performance, I moved Romo up on spot.
1. Staubach
2. Aikman
3. White
4. Romo
5. Meredith
I don't get why Staubach is above Aikman. He opened and closed the door on 3 super bowls. 4 was in the cards.
I'm not propping anyone up I just think Aikman is incredibly overrated. I love him to death, honestly. But again, what did he really have to do besides hand the ball off? If I'm not mistaken, they started their 1993 season out 0-2 and magically started winning games when Emmitt came back.
It's not to say that I don't think he's good, he's obviously in the HOF for a reason. But he's pretty low tier compared to the other players in there.
