I wonder what Bruce Carter's trade value is.

20 oz. cola of your choice and a candy bar? We aren't trading him. He is in a contract year now, let's hope he gets his head out of his rear end.

If Sean would have played the whole season he would have been a shoe in for dpoy. He lead the league w 90 tackles and 4 picks. He would have beat out luke kuechley. Hope sean can finally be healthy for 2014

Yeah Sean is excited about the new D coach he is only going to play in 9-10 games of the new scheme but he is excited non the less ( excuse my attitude wife just told me my mother in law is staying with us for a week)

My mother-in-law passed away in 1993, .. can't believe it has been 20 years. She was great to me.
I would love to have her stay with us for a week.

Yes every year it is something to look forward to, then we lay an egg. Then babble on about how we will get better, things will change.

We keep watching the same movie every year. Same re-run, but the box office continues to release it, and it hits big every time.

Sorry to hear that bro, but not all of us are blessed with a great mother in law might I add that she is a hardcore Stealer fan and dated Mean Joe Green. If that post offended you that was by no means my intention

Oh, it in no way offended me, .. I was just trying to help you look at it from another angle.

She might be gone some day and then she can't visit.

Reports are that he will play in a sumo wrestler suit hoping the inflatable will soften many of the blows his body has had to absorb over the last two seasons. Thoughts from the training staff and medical personnel are that this should allow him to complete at least 3/4 of a full season without injury.

Lol. I didn't catch that earlier.

It reminds me of the classic Picks of our Members thread title that used to horrify me when I first came to CZ. But it was really just pictures of the people who posted here.

Hehe, reminds me of a old thread entitled "Demarcus Ware: The anatomy of a sack"

I am sure he will be healthy for the *start* of 2014 its the end that always seems to elude him.

As others have said, players always say this to the public. I like it when people get real, but then again, I'm in the minority here. So when a player says something controversial, that is real, not fake. Not saying that Sean Lee is fake, but most players talk like this. As for the topic at hand, we need Lee to play. You're no good if you're on the sideline all the time.

I'd be disappointed if one the main leaders on the team felt any other way.

When Lee was playing we still had the worst defense in the NFL.

I think, for the most part, athletes are successful in large part because they have positive attitudes and high expectations. I don't think these guys are necessarily trying to convince people of things they don't believe, for the most part. I think they look on the bright side because that's how you justify putting in a hellacious amount of hard work after a disappointing finish last season. But it is a reason to take the positives they say with a grain of salt.

Personally, I think it's more telling what they aren't positive about, or watching them search for positives carefully on a topic that's a minefield. Generally speaking, though, if a guy is saying nice things about another player or about a coach, it's a safe bet he's probably telling the truth as he sees it.

Great you are OK with the program, Lee.
Now, the thing to learn is that we need a players ON THE FIELD.
Not a towel waver like you half become.
Really tired of your fade-outs. If you half all that money, then start earning it.

This. But this is what we get drafting these players and trying to get a bargain. Even worse we don't cut ties with them and extend them out. So we get to deal with this for 4-5 more years.

He's a good player no doubt but he will never stay healthy and has not been on the field the last 2 years down the stretch when we really needed him. Especially the last 2 do or die games.

It'd be better to get someone who is marginally less talented but we can actually depend on to be out there and lead the defense. He plays a very important position.

Also, who wouldn't be excited to have a job where you only go to work half the time but still get paid anyways? Sign me up.
