I sorted 6 media mocks, 2 from ESPN and 4 from CBS.

Kiper
McShay
Rob Rang
Dane Brugler
Pete Prisco
Will Brinson

There were 41 total players.

This is the list of players that were available at 27 and how many times they were available in the 6 mocks.
(i.e. 1 indicates that player was gone in 5 of 6 mocks and 6 indicates that player was available at 27 in all 6 mocks).

1 Andrus Peat
1 Kevin Johnson
2 D.J. Humphries
2 Jaelen Strong
2 Malcom Brown
2 Marcus Peters
2 Melvin Gordon
3 Byron Jones
3 Ereck Flowers
3 Jalen Collins
3 Landon Collins
3 T.J. Clemmings
4 Cameron Erving
4 Dorial Green-Beckham
4 Eddie Goldman
5 Devin Funchess
5 Jay Ajayi
5 Jordan Phillips
6 Eli Harold
6 Eric Rowe
6 Maxx Williams
6 Nelson Agholor
6 Owamagbe Odighizuwa

The players at the bottom of the list were in the group of 41 but were not in that Analysts mock.

If I give a player a 33 value when he was not in a mock and then average each player across all 6 mocks, then I get:

The 2nd column is the average, the 1st column is the order from 1 to 41 of all players.

1 , 1.0 Jameis Winston
2 , 2.5 Leonard Williams
3 , 4.0 Dante Fowler Jr.

Eric Rowe is very interesting but we didnt invite him for a visit, not sure he is on our radar.

Eric Kendricks seems to be slipping..

Good stuff. If that holds true I would put my money on Ajaji being a Cowboy.

Eric Kendricks seems to be slipping..

In the draftnik world, maybe.

A lot of these players in these mocks that are stone cold locks for the first round will not be there in a few weeks.

Happens every year.

I recall years ago Brandon Browner was considered a first round pick around this stage in the process and he ended up going undrafted and had to go to Canada.

Here is the list in alphabetic order if you want to see who is not there.
Note:
Coleman was not in any of the 6 mocks, Ajayi was in 1.
Kendricks was not in any of them.
The lowest anybody pick Gurley was 24th.

14 , 1.0 Alvin Dupree
5 , 2.5 Amari Cooper
17 , 4.0 Andrus Peat
15 , 4.3 Arik Armstead

These "risers" are always funny to watch happen. What have any evaluators seen new that would cause a player to jump up rds? Im pretty sure NFL teams don't go around jumping players up continuously. My theory is these experts start hearing whispers on teams liking a player a lot and move them up. Either their admitting their evaluation was completely wrong or just going off what everyone else is starting to say. Either way its not a good way to do business.

Thanks for your work....nice consensus look as we are getting closer to the draft.

Thanks for doing this.

Blending in the NFL.com mocks would be good, but I don't want to look at gift horse I. Mouth...or something like that.

In any case, it's telling.

Getting Malcom Brown at 27 would be sweet, but at least from these two groups, the odds look a bit slim.

Ajayi was only in 1 mock (i.e only 1 analysts thought he was a 1st rounder).

If i read that correctly is avg rank was 31. Of the players ranked 27 to 41 we have been linked to 4 with Ajaji looking like they have the most interest. That's why I said him.

Two mentions of Ajayi already in a short thread.
Do you guys really think we spend the 27th pick on him?
I'll never say "never", but I think the odds are maybe 5% at best.
But my opinion means nothing to them....it's jmo all the way

He is only on the list because 1 of 6 analysts had him as a 1st rounder.
