Take Free out and that drastically changes :)

Not saying I want him gone, but he does skew the average.

Every guy on our line is younger than that average except Free and Leary. LOL

And both those guys could have replacements already on the roster in Green and Collins.

No doubt, but a couple of 33 year olds aren't the future.

yeah. it looks like they may outright release mathis before the season. haven't heard anything about Peters. Cant wait until he slows down or leaves the division.

He will just as soon as Hardy, Gregory and Dlaw get after him

lol they didnt draft an OL this year either

You know, that Chip Kelly is a genius! :)

Will be interesting to see how bad the Sheagles look this year, and whether he can keep his job.

He may have just Spurrier-esque NFL career.

An average NFL player's prime is in the 26-28 year old range. so this looks really good for us.

You don't want to be too young where inexperience is a factor and of course you don't want to be too old with the dropoff in speed and injury concerns.

To have a group this young with this much talent is very difficult to assemble - and yet they pulled it off. :)

Difference being there are some OL's younger than ours that are young and unproven or young and horrible.

This isn't even remotely accurate. The rams starting OL has 2 27yo, 2 26yo, and one 22yo. How does that average out to 23.4? Oh it doesn't? Exactly. Try 25.6

I think the Eagles 2015 offseason has been an unmitigated disaster.

The Eagles have 11.1 million in cap dollars now devoted to their stable of free agent running backs (Sproles, Murray, Mathews).

But didn't do anything to address their aging O-line.

The way they drafted, it looks like Chip likes to build from the outside in:

Over two years now, the Eagles have sat through 14 rounds and drafted not a single tackle, guard, or center, and for a team with three projected starters who will be 30 or older this season

NOTE: the article is apologetic, homer garbage of the Fisher variety, but it did provide a useful stat
