Former Cowboy Patrick Watkins playing in CFL

I flipped on CFL last night before our Cowboy game and saw former Cowboy Patrick Watkins playing. Our former 5th round pick in 2006 is still playing now at age 32 with the Edmonton Eskimos.

How'd he do?

As I recall, he was extremely tall for a safety and had issues with change of direction.

I always think that he got rushed into service and didn't get a long enough leash here.

He's been a good player in Canada, I think he plays corner, not safety though.

He always maintained he was a corner. I think he is more comfortable covering WRs than playing center field. He was miscast.

And untalented for the NFL.

and he was 100% right about it. Watkins did eventually start to have problems with stingers.
