The Philadelphia Eagles were embarrassed at home on Sunday, losing 45-17 to the Buccaneers, dropping them to 4-6. Though the good news is playing in the NFC East means Philly still isn't out of the division race (the 5-5 Giants are currently in first place), that might be the only good news for the team right now.

The Eagles' performance in recent weeks - they were up 16-3 at home against Miami after the first quarter but lost 20-19, and gave up 235 rushing yards to Tampa Bay's Doug Martin while rookie QB Jameis Winston threw for five touchdowns with no interceptions - is not sitting well with Philadelphia fans.

But some players aren't thrilled with what they're seeing either.

Philadelphia Inquirer beat writer Jeff McLane has one Eagle questioning the effort of high-priced running back DeMarco Murray, signed in free agency earlier this year.

"Well, when you see DeMarco sliding before getting hit, you tell me. Was that giving full effort?" said an Eagles player who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "You see that [stuff], and it makes you wonder."

For all you who thought Dallas couldnt live without him and he made the O Line, see above. You can best believe it isnt just one team mate either. Beware of players who have great walk years.

Eagles players seem to want to act like the fan base for whatever reason. That kind of stuff should stay in house, no matter what. How cowardly is it to say that anonymously about your own teammate?

It is not just Murray.

That whole team looks like they have checked out.

Chip Kelly's losing the locker room. And you still have some idiots on ESPN that think he's going to be there next year. We can only hope.

But Murray is a leader!!!

You don't think he would have checked out with Romo being out a full season...

I always had the feeling he never wanted to leave college, but eyes were on him regarding recruiting violations. I don't watch college football, but I vaguely remember discussions in that direction. It was similar to Pete Carroll bouncing USC. I think Chip wants to go back to college...

Losing 45-17? Um, yeah. NFL teams don't lose like that unless they've checked out. That's the difference between the Cowboys at 3-7 and the Eagles at 4-6. Despite the 7-game losing streak, this Cowboys team still has faith in what Garrett and Co. are trying to do....

...Chip Kelly is rapidly losing his team.

OMG that's ten times worse than what Murray did. That actually looks like Alonzo was fixing the game.

Boy that's one wimping run, he should have been spotted short of the 1st down too

Yea, this is the 1st time I've seen this now infamous slide, and it was much closer than I expected. When a runner gives himself up like that I don't think he should get the benefit of forward momentum as though he dove.

I mean that is the rule. The ball is down where he starts the "baseball" slide. Now I haven't seen a non-QB go down like that before.
