The issue I have with him is that I keep seeing concerns over Ross and his knee issues but Watt's knees get disregarded.

He looks like a solid player and I have to give it to him for switching positions. Still, I'm not sold on the guy as being a 1st rounder.

I read Ross had microfracture surgery.

I think he's a 3-4 OLB.

The thing most of our fanbase struggles with is when you think of RE, you think of someone who can bend the edge like Ware. We thought Gregory was that guy.

This is not the draft for guys who can consistently bend the edge. Garrett and Barnett can win like that all game, the others not so much. But there are some guys who can get pressure and disrupt the QB in other ways.

No. But I'm not taking Watt there either. The four 4-3 ends I would take, Garrett, Barnett, McKinley and Charlton will all be gone.

name recognition...this guy is a mid-30's pick to me...only if they traded out of the 1st and he was still sitting there when we were up, but even then, I think that there would be CB's I like better (assuming no other DE's are available)

I actually have Watt rated higher than Willis on my top 50 I'll post later but as a 3-4 OLB. It's a scheme fit thing not a player hate thing.

Same with Tyus Bowser. He's in my top 20 as an OLB. On a Cowboys specific board I'd never have him there.

Some of the appeal with Willis is he is a true 4-3 end. You won't have to worry about him being a liability in the run game lined up over an OT.

Agreed with you Risen. I'm not touching Watt or Bowser. Just don't seem like good fits here in the 4-3.
