  • Lee has always been a baller. His only issue was some injuries. He's our best player on defense and only pro bowler.
  • I've always been hard on tank because he hasn't been consistent but honestly he played like a wardaddy against the giants
  • I'm excited about the defense but want to see them perform against better offenses. If they can keep it up we are Super Bowl bound
On a side note. Dez trucked my boy Landon Collins  and Calais Campbell had 4 freaking sacks at DT. Good lord

Hard to argue with Rod's plan last Sunday, but I agree it's something I'd like the to unveil at some point.

Yes... they are going to turn him loose in the Green Bay game .... I would love seeing him put Rodgers in the dirt a few times!!!

One thing I wish they would do is use him on blitzes. For now all they did was have him site back and play the pass. I've seen some of his tape rushing the passer. He's really good.

Yes he can certainly be our war daddy. Just hope they use him like one.
They probably don't want to risk a chop block on the kid.

The prospect of a healthy Jaylon Smith and Sean Lee on the field together is amazing. It more than makes up for the lack of true pas rushers.

And it's not so much their athleticism that gives us an elite LB team, but their intelligence

Well said.

Some people don't get it.

If he and Lee stay healthy..

we haven't seen talent at LBer like that since our last SB.

I thought this past game was excellent for Jaylon when you put it in context, the guy has not played in a meaningful game since Jan 1st 2016. He has had to work his tail off to get to this point all the while hearing the critics saying he will never make it back. As I said I think was an excellent start for Jaylon but it is only the start. This kid has the talent, intelligence and work ethic to be a great player. It is going to be fun watching this kid grow week to week.

This game, even tho one game, limited reps and all that, justified why some fans were so big on Jaylon. Yes still one game, but you have to admit he made use of his reps and displayed a lot of talent on the field in a short amount of time. He can still flame out but he made a statement and its worth giving it a year to see how he develops.

And one can't help but think that guys like Jaylon, Lael, Zeke and others may show a tad bit of loyalty when resigning new contracts for not only selecting them when others wouldn't but also by standing by these guys when times are tough on them. Say will you want about Jerry but he appears to be sincere with the fellas and it would be great for him to get something back. And yes I am aware that money is the driving force for the players.

One play that semi dissappinted was a run play that came straight at Jaylon's gap and he didn't shoot it, he just let the running back come to him for the tackle.

The play at :32 is what I'm referencing. He stopped the play but all that hopping was unnecessary. He looks jittery and nervous to me. Sean ales would've bullet shot at the running back with that open lane to tackle and I guess that's what I was hoping Smith would do on that play. That's play should've been no gain or negative yardage for.::

Yeah, Lee is the definition of wardaddy. The guy makes our defense so much better I'm not sure it's measureable. He's like Tony Romo in the way he sees the field and feels what is going on almost naturally. Part of it is athletic ability and part is copious amounts of film study.

Jaylon makes us better, and will continue to do so as he improves.

Kind of expected for your first game in 2 years right?

Yeah I agree. But those are what I call pivotal or momentum plays. Or my favorite: Attitude plays. That I'm not waiting for you, I'm goin goin take it from you. What Anthony Brown did to Eli with that interception.

All in all, it was still a pretty solid play for Smith.

But he had a few of those plays too. The hit on Sheppard that knocked his *** right to the ground after Wilson hit him. That was an attitude play. And then the forced fumble was the perfect play example of what this defense wants to be all about. It's not his fault that it was ruled incorrectly.

If Ware joins, we have to be super bowl favorite. The defense already looking legit, he would solidify it and more

Think Ware would be a major upgrade in getting team closer to being elite on D, even is he's just in as pass rush specialist. His leadership alone would be invaluable. But still think Cowboys are ONE war daddy away, even with Ware, to be considered championship caliber D.

Still say we should trade for Aaron Donald. Maliek-Taco-Crawford & 1st rounder. And bring Neal up from PS.
