I define beating a women as clinching your fist, backhanding or using a blunt instrument or object.

DV is defined as using physical force which might not include beating her but shoving, slamming , pushing or grabbing her.

You just said the key words “you define”.

No matter what your definition of woman beater is, labeling somebody as having committed domestic violence is a very very serious allegation and it shouldn’t be done unless you have damn solid concrete evidence of it. Which the nfl doesn’t.

Using physical force doesn’t necessarily define “beating a women”. That could be pushing, shoving, etc.

Yep except failing a drug test doesn’t carry a minimum 6 game suspension.

Using physical force on multiple occasions causing injuries sure is, and those are the exact words the NFL used.

Nope, only domestic violence does.

It’s about people public perception of what the NFL accuses Zeke of.

******** you are dense as a rock.
I totally understand what their perception is. It doesn’t mean I have to agree with it. The public is often like a lynch mob. And not the most educated.

DV doesn’t even always involve physical violence . They really should look it up.

But in this case the NFL states Elliott used physical violence but they didn’t to my knowledge ever called him a “ women beater”. That was used by those your referring to.

Based on the definition the NFL and I’m describing I believe they do have enough evidence to determine Elliott violated the PC Policy which doesn’t mean he was guilty of a criminal act of DV which will never be determined because he wasn’t prosecuted which is an entire differently discussion . My focus has always been on the NFL Policy.

They said he was guilty of: on multiple occasions using physical force that caused injuries. He’s also suspended under the domestic violence aspect.... yeah they are calling him a woman beater.
No, you are interpreting that as many others have. They never technically called him that.

DV under the very vague NFL PC Policy allows wide latitude to administer a violation and suspension as agreed upon in the collective bargaining agreement.

That’s another discussion . My argument is based on the current NFL PC Policy.

I define what you're doing as moving the goalposts.

Your certainly entitled to your opinion . Ive stayed true to my position and never waivered from the beginning that based on the NFL PC Policy the commissioner had enough evidence to find Elliott guilty of DV which would result in the minimum 6 game suspension. Which is on the cusp of becoming a reality regardless if we agree or not.

You asked what the NFL said. I showed you what they said. You responded by redefining terms. That's my opinion. Thank you for allowing me to have it.

I don't think anyone is denying the reality of the situation.

The NFL Policy needs to be addressed. But until it does I at least up until now have had the insight on these cases which way it would go based on the evidence presented.

You have to separate your emotion attached to the player to take a more unbiased approach which is very difficult for most fans.

Personally I like the Policy because rarely are these superstar celebrity athletes going to be brought to justice . This policy serves as a mechanism to provide some justice even if it’s obviously a flawed policy .

Now your frustrated with the argument and will begin the personal insults . How predictable .

Perhaps you should place me on ignore if you can’t handle my perspective as I won’t be responding to you any longer.

I have CONTEMPT for your so called perspective. You want Zeke to be guilty as somehow that makes you feel better about yourself

No, not better about myself but having the correct insight and instinct in how this would turn out. Ultimately it hurts the Cowboys so I’m sad.

If Hardy had handled his business in Dallas, he wouldn't have to be posting this from the sidelines now.
IT'S HARD TO HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS WHEN THE WHOLE DAMNED NFL IS AFTER YOU.

Look, bloke, I get it.
You support Zeke no matter what he would or would not do. Win despite the ethics or human responsibility or despite the victim and his or her injuries.
But, blimey, I like a team that wears the star. And the white hats. But that is just me.
I like to be proud of our starting 11s...
