I want a young coach, who has a plan, he comes into the office for his interview. This is my 5 year plan and coaches i want installed. Here is the scheme we want because it fits Daks strengths, we are going to build around Elliot and Dak, which means here are the players on offense we want gone. I have no loyalty to them nor them to me.

Will McClay is not bringing in the top flight talent here is my list for new scouts. As you can see their short list of hits and misses but they hit more on top flight talent than looking for gems and missing out on diamonds. Replace them.

Here is the DC i want, hes going to install a scheme that centers around our Pass Rush and the load of CBS you brought in. here is the list of players that can be cut as of today. I want to be hired before the draft and i want this draft to start my offseason. We are going to focus on what works and fix what doesnt. We re not going to ignore depth, back ups have to work as hard as starters because in this league you never know when you ll be a starter.

Here is the OC i want, as i said we ll be focusing on Daks strengths and the running game, we ll get runners to compliment EE and work to pound the defense as much as gain yards. You get 4 tries to make 10 yards, we can do that. We want to work on what works, and cut what doesnt. our plays will work around what is successful, not what we want to impose on the team. WE ll stick to a simple approach and build on it with success.

Here is the ST coach i want, everything your guy did before sucked. We ll be changing that as well Versatile players who know to get hard yards and not be heroes. Get the yards, not always the home run. Simple, ball control that allows our offense to get to work and not work harder.

The first year, i want to implement my changes and see how far the team goes, than we ll evalute and build on what works and what didnt. We ll be focusing on success not a process of shwoing up one week and not the next. If a player doesnt work or make it work, they sit until we can cut them. Im not going to waste time putting a square peg in a round hole.

Second year i want to be in the playoffs, we ll adjust the team with good FAs and a draft for future talent, not immediate unless its the first 2 rounds, if we cant find anything good well trade for more picks. Very simple tactic.
Right after this interview Jerrry would tell him." Don't call us.We'll call you." Never to be heard from again.

Done with Garrett...Time to bring in Josh McDaniels. The Patriots know how to prepare for their opponent. We need a true offensive minded coach that can prepare his team for battle. Gotta have a plan B and C in case A doesn't work.

He also took the Raiders to the AFC Championship game. And who cares who built the team, Gruden got the job done. He wouldn't be building this team either, FYI.

He would coach circles around Garrett. He has been what this team has needed for a long time. Being out of coaching never hurt guys like Parcells and Gruden is still young.

I doubt Jerry and Gruden would or could make a good mix. Both are hot-headed, hard-headed and controlling. It'd be chaos.

If Garrett gets fired, your new head coach will be......Scott Linehan.

Jerry doesn't do power coaches. He has no use for them, unless he needs to build a stajum.
This. I can think of many reasons to fire Garret BUT under JJ's family rule, who are you going to find that can put up with Jerry and family while being successful in the same regime. The replacement of JG would have to be a diamond in the rough or desperate to pay off some bills. My understanding Bill Parcells had some hefty divorce expenses when he took the DC job. Jerry got a stadium and Bill got back into the black.

Hated him couple years ago, thought maybe his apprentiship was over and he was done learning on the job. Nope, he is what he is a below average motivator and above average clapper.
So - no, he can go kick rocks.

My opinion is well documented across the pages of CowboysZone...I could live with losing the rest of the games this year if it meant he wasn't the head coach any longer...nice guy, the kinda guy you call to pick you up for a ride...but you don't let him lead your favorite football team....

it I were on twitter, things I might put on there are: #puppet #stooge #clapper #mr500

you get the idea

get me someone in here with some fire, gruden-like guy that will make me want to watch the team again

Very well thought our and articulated. Now I do think he is taking a bit of a gratuitous beating for the LT situation. He also lost one of the best pass protecting running backs I've ever seen (Elliott), and his left guard was struggling. Keeping a TE in was problematic given overall pressure and the need to have quick routes. At some point, the guy on the field must do his job. There is only so much a scheme can cover. Green looked awful to the point I wondered if he was injured. Bell came in and surrendered two sacks. We can fault the coaches for having failed to produce better options, but given the options available, I don't know where you find more in-game help.

We should not use our slow TE for quick routes.

I would say:

Andy Reid
Sean Payton
Mike McCarthy

For me, that would be about it. I know some would say Mike Tomlin and Pete Carroll but I don't care for them. POint taken though, not very many good coaches in the NFL.
