Good man... been busy but always reading here for my Cowboys info.

Glad to see you back, Homey.
Yeah, I was... detained for a minute.
I can't believe I missed last season and all the cool stuff that happened.
Can't keep a bad guy down though!
We're always plotting how to rule the world, even from a place of defeat.

It's crazy what an echo chamber can do to galvanize a mob.
Not crazy: Simple human nature.
We still have some sheep genes in there that haven't been weeded out yet.

It's actually really interesting. There's tremendous social pressure on conforming opinions in groups like this. I don't want to wax political, but you can see from a simple football forum where the pressure comes from on larger and more important stages.

And people will just swallow whole in that context stuff that their rational brain would rebel at if you caught them alone at a dinner party or in a bar over a beer.

The best part of the play was the patience Jones showed in waiting for the hole to open. It's almost like he's a real football player. :)

What’s funny is that I always watch the Cowboys play with my elderly mother and, while she loves the Cowboys, she just doesn’t know a whole lot about football. Now she has Alzheimer’s and really doesn’t know much.

Anyway, whenever Dallas loses or doesn’t do well, she always says, “They need to fire that coach and find someone who is going to get them playing right!”

She did it through jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer, Chan gailey, Dave campo, Bill Parcells, wade Phillips and now, Jason Garrett.

She just always blames the coach. Doesn’t really know what she’s looking at but always blames the coach for everything.

In fact, I’ve noticed (in real life) that most casual fans who don’t know football that well, tend to blame the coach every, single time.

What that says... I’m not drawing any conclusions.

I'll say it. You feel like you may be one? I wouldn't say so...
No... not you. You have a mind unto your own.

I’m listening...
You are a hero.
I love that you and your grandmother watched games together. And that it was something you, I'm sure, looked forward to and I'm sure she did also.

I almost teared up, friend.

Reminds me when I was 4 and old Mr. Campbell would ride his bike across Ingleside to give me a piece of gum and watch the Cowboys.

Jones is a good athlete. He is coached that if they get a certain look, he can go by his choice.

Told you Garrett didn’t make that call...

Smh at people giving Garrett credit.

He’s been here 8 years and has been a pansey with no fail.

Best way to keep a secret is to tell no one, including his own team ... and to think I thought we had coaches with backbone.

I was saying that, yet got assaulted by the experts on here that think that head coaches always have input and final say on every play.

This isn’t college.

When coaches get play calling over ruled at this level, that’s a sign they’re on their way out the door anyways.

You clowns are too much. LOL.

"So it wasn't Garrett's call after all!!! WUSS!!!"

Or... it was Garrett's staff who empowered the punter to make that decision based on the look he sees. Which is crystal clear if you READ THE ARTICLE.

+1000 likes. I did the same with my grandma. I miss her everyday. As Corso said, you are a hero.

Clap, clap, but not in the Jason Garrett kind of way!:)
