I'm not saying the last 22 years have been great. I'm just saying that it could be worse...

We continue to sink to new levels trying to somehow make the fact we haven't been in a Super Bowl since 1995 seem reasonable.

We aren't other teams. We are the Dallas Cowboys. Using stats from 20 years ago is as ridiculous as the Eagles claiming their World Championships in the 40's as being relevant today.

Yet "23 seasons without a SB" is repeated ad nauseum as if that is relevant to the team's chances this coming year. BTW there are 18 teams that have waited longer for a SB. Context should matter but it doesn't.

The only thing I care about is this year. Are the leaders of the team making a good faith effort to do the best job they can to try to win this year. Each year is a new year. 22 years don't matter. Only this year matters. I reset every season.

But for those that don't, 18 teams have been waiting longer to win a Super Bowl than the Cowboys. Are their fans stupid for having hope for 2018?

I would be looking forward to this season if we had a new head coach.

If you go back to 1985 the Pats are batting 500 in the Super Bowl at 5-5. They hold the record for the most Super Bowl losses.
