Fans like you...who give Jerry credit for the Super Bowls when Jimmy was here...is EXACTLY why we are where are today. If Jerry was a principal figure in winning those Super Bowls...how come he has only 2....2...playoff wins since Jimmy influence has left the building? Nick Foles has won more than that in ONE year...than Jerry has in the last 20+ COMBINED! The Cowboys have one more playoff win in the last 20+ years than Tim Tebow. If, that huge word again, IF you saw the pregame for Super Bowl XLV in Dallas you would have seen a round table with Emmitt, Aikman, Irvin, The Moose, Johnson and Jones and you would have seen and heard Johnson finally admit to millions of people watching that he didn't have all the power and authority many outside of the organization thought he had. The thing Johnson said that bothered him his entire time in Dallas was having to go to Jones for many things people outside of the Cowboys didn't think he had to do. Your next point is so easy to refute it's laughable. !st draft right out of the gate in 1989 Jonhson wanted to use the #1 pick on Mandarich but Jones said NO that the Cowboys would take Aikman. The next year Johnson talked Jones into trading up in the draft so they trade spots with the steelers so they could draft LB James Francis. Except a minute after the trade was made the bengals drafted Francis ahead of the Cowboys so Johnson said that the Cowboys would draft LB Tony Bennett but again Jones put his foot down and said the Cowboys would draft Emmitt. Johnson didn't Emmitt because Emmitt chose Florida instead of Miami. But, another big word, BUT if left to Johnson 2 out of the 3 triplets wouldn't have been Cowboys and those 3 Super Bowls wouldn't have been. Lastly you also probably have problems with simple things like 2+2. Those Super Bowl teams were built BEFORE there was a salary cap and those teams put the Cowboys into cap he11 since the very first day there was a cap until even today and that is why the Cowboys have not been able to put together another team like the 90's. Things were great in the 90's with the Super Bowls and Jones paying backups starting pay money and having depth like no other team but those days ended when the cap started. That team had to be gutted of most of their backups and many of their starters just to get under the cap.

It actually makes sense. One group is complaining about the team, which in reality, is part of the point of a sports message board. Discuss, champion, criticize, complain, congratulate, the team all fits within the scope of a team message board.

I'm not sure what your point is...Jerry bought those Super Bowls...and because of free agency he has to actually put a coaching staff/team together which he is incapable of? Or...Jerry was primarily responsible for the first 3 titles...which is a clear indication that he knows what he is doing...and the last 23 years have just been a hiccup?

Name a coach that has been a head coach for more than a season who was also a 1st time head coach that hasn't made some mistakes managing the clock. Even head coaches with years of experience have made mistakes managing the clock. So to hang your whine about that is pretty foolish.
