I think you may be on to something.

Yes, especially since Pete Carroll seems to be getting rather cross with Earl. Perhaps this is our window to offer something like a 4th rounder to get him off their hands, and then sign him for about the next 3 years. I reckon that'd be about the right time frame for someone his age, wouldn't it?

I'm willing to bet they quickly switched gears yesterday from the Martin deal to working the Seattle phones.

Haha, I don't doubt it, dear boy. If we can manage to get ET, and sign him longer term, I reckon that we'll be in really good shape. ET would be a brilliant addition if we can do it reasonably, especially since he seems to really not like it in Seattle.

Thomas is nothing but him using us against his own team..Further a long term for Dlaw is the focus now..That way we can make use of any money gained by a spread to the cap, and release of the franchise tag on Dlaw..

Im sorry but we are not going to pay Thomas what he thinks he can demand, and its the last contract where Thomas can demand market...Give it up!

There are going to be some upset fans when Earl stays in Seattle this year.

Sad part is, those guys will probably find their way to hating Xavier Woods before he ever has a chance.

Just a hunch.

Oh, I'm willing to give Woods a chance if our FO can't work out a deal. I just think that if we do manage to acquire that him that our defense would be greatly improved. Wouldn't you agree?

I would have lost the Seahawks' phone number the second he failed to show at mandatory mini-camp. I wouldn't trust any d-bag holding out when he's under contract.

For the exact same reason you don't negotiate with terrorists.

In this case with Thomas..No..He looks like he is exhibiting or about to..I will say that the Cowboys were close to pulling the trigger, Seattle never intended to trade Thomas, and a two was not enough to get them to yes, hell the Cowboys even offered a 3 after, they didnt bite..

Just wait till next year..if they dont get an extension done, he will slowly come in and hit the market next season.

THAT is more like what the Cowboys will do..They are great at letting good players go, to make sure they dont have to worry about money!!
