Which receivers do you think make the 53?

with Thompson injured it gives more opportunities to a guy like Lenoir
i know they like Lenoir but unsure if he can be PS eligible again or do they go 6 at wr?
Cedrick Wilson is undoubtedly a PS guy
KD i havent heard anything good or bad about him really since otas started
even though TWill is a bonehead at times and injured i think by TC he will be getting 1st team reps again, they like him too much to cut him -i think cutting him is about 4.5M dead money this year
it does seem that if one of these other guys was balling out in TC it might give then serious consideration over him but still

I think we'll carry more than 6 because the influx of new and we have much more depth at D-line where we will carry fewer IMO.

I was going to start a thread asking around on who thought Terrance Williams would make the 53 and who didn't.

I think the team is waiting on a suspension to get them off the hook for his guaranteed money to cut him.

Helman and some others who cover the Cowboys seem to think he's a "lock" to be on this team, but I just don't see that at all.

I think the team is about done with him and his embarrassing gaffes and disappointment.

I'm curious, does anyone know if Williams can be charged with lying to police?

I think Twon't will out of experience alone

While I don't think Williams is a lock to make the team I think the odds are he will make the team. 2019 is an out year on his contract, given the changes made at WR I think Cowboys will keep Williams in the lineup for 2018. Beyond that really comes down to production in my view

I agree with your 5 locks, but think the 6th spot will between Thompson and Wilson. But really feel that Wilson is a PS guy to at this point. I been saying it since they drafted him. Actually I don't think they needed to draft him. But still need to see him on the field before I change my mind.

I do think they go with 6 WR's, unless Austin is so outstanding, and the also keep Scarbrough or Jackson as an extra RB. A lot in play here on the numbers game.

They will need to keep 6. They may even keep 6 plus put Twill on ir to designate his return later unless they need that injury exemption on defense. Hurns has been injured alot the last 2 years so keeping some depth would be a good move and Twill may or may not be suspended sometime whenever roger feels like it.

TWill on ir was my thought as well and if he gets suspended you can almost guarantee one of these new guys is taking that spot
Hurns being injured is interesting, i know if a team traded for someone with injury history they would likely keep a backup plan
the question is during TC and preseason which of these guys will shine and who will disappear / who develops a chemistry with the qb

This looks about right..Twill is somehow a fav, but i think between the foot injury, The arrest, lying to Garret lying to the cop, and driving up on a bicycle going to get him suspended..

Yes - unrelated to the car accident. That was just for his scooter shenanigans. The car accident is still under investigation.

He might also get dinged by Goodell for trying to blame Kendall Wright for wrecking his car. Williams' lawyer just recently said that claim was BS.

All I know is if we don't keep Wilson we will regret it, he isn't staying on the PS for long. I think he has Nate Burleson type ability.

We all know what TWill is at this point and that's not good enough, if we keep a WR because he's a good blocker we are ******* ********.

Williams might be slightly more reliable than all three of these guys but they all easily have the potential to surpass Williams this season if he's not taking reps from these three. Williams is, was, and always will be a middle of the roster player and players that aren't aware of game situations I ******* hate and I know it never gets better, so I don't want that guy to have the opportunity to **** up with the game on the line. Hopefully we trade him for a conditional 7th and just be done with him.
