In no way does this guy deserve near the hate that he receives. What should have done? Turn down the money, say NO...THATS TOO MUCH! Would you have? LOL

He is what he is,.... a good solid player who impacts a lot of plays. He may never be a pro bowl type player but HE IS a guy that is unselfish and goes about his job in a workmanlike manner. He is a guy that might not make the play, but due to his actions he influences A LOT of plays that others clean up. Kind of guy that will be sorely missed when he is gone. Asked to play multiple positions and does so without complaint. Very versatile. Soooo, Hate away..... but in the end we are very lucky to have him as a Cowboy.

At least he doesn't get suspended every year. Lunch pail guy, just shows up and does his job.

He will take a pay cut to stay here I think. He loves it here. He’s a Canadian so I have my own views about him being Canadian myself. One thing about him is off the field I never worry.

Colossal miscalculation by the FO. They gambled on him being the next star 3T in this league before he put anything on film showing he was that guy.

I don't blame him, I blame Jones and co for that blunder in thinking they outsmarted everyone.

However, he's a lunch pail leader and a versatile piece on the DL who shows up every week and is well respected. I do think the FO learned a thing about counting their chickens before they hatch after getting burned, they've been much more prudent in handing out big deals after this one.

he can't go anywhere, we like to think we are cornering the market on all "Boise St", so he stays

He's a marginal player@ best. He never should have received the contract he's under. He doesn't excel@ no position. He should have not been counted on to be elite, shows the incompetency of this front office. I spoke about this the moment he got extended@ that time. He's an average role player, expecting anything more of him was& is complete delusion. To many strikes against him to become "That" player, should have known this during his draft process.

So he is ok to be over paid and under perform to the contract amount, but Dez and others did not? Fans rag on others, so Crawford should get the same. I can't even recall any "impact" or "splash" plays he really has had. I don't think he influences as many plays as you think he does. JMO though.

Not hating on him, but time for him to go, and see what another player can do at a lower price tag. Doesn't help the team moves him around way too much either, but that is what this team does is waste players careers and potential more often than not.

I think it's his contract that causes a lot of fans to sour on him. He is slightly overpaid, imo, but it isn't his fault. Solid player. They might've messed with his confidence by moving him around a lot when he first was breaking into the league, too. Like we are doing now with MCollins

Nobody could have anticipated those re-occurring shoulder injuries, just like Maliek Collins with two broken feet back to back. It’s just one of those things that happens...

He is a pretty good leader from what I can see too. It was a bad contract on ownerships part. Actually, it is the last bad contract we have had. No hate should be given to TC but JJ and SJ we should be looking sideways at. Bottom line is that TC is good for the team on the field but bad on the cap.

This will be his last year as a Cowboy.

That's what I thought too, and it still may happen. But when I looked at his contract again, they might wait until 2019. Yes he's being overpaid, but at the same time he's not breaking the bank, and he's not garbage. At this point i'll take him over Irving because you simply can't trust the latter.

That " good leader" tag is thrown around so much in today's football & specifically this team. What is he a good leader@? What exactly is he leading? On how to Finesse Jerry & Co to fork over money he didn't necessarily deserve. No offense to u but I just find that line to be funny when people or fans say that. " He's a good leader tho" like if Crawford is leading ur unit or team, then y'all not going nowhere far trust!
