In no way does this guy deserve near the hate that he receives. What should have done? Turn down the money, say NO...THATS TOO MUCH! Would you have? LOL

He is what he is,.... a good solid player who impacts a lot of plays. He may never be a pro bowl type player but HE IS a guy that is unselfish and goes about his job in a workmanlike manner. He is a guy that might not make the play, but due to his actions he influences A LOT of plays that others clean up. Kind of guy that will be sorely missed when he is gone. Asked to play multiple positions and does so without complaint. Very versatile. Soooo, Hate away..... but in the end we are very lucky to have him as a Cowboy.
Defenses equivalent to Williams, way underraed by fans and a little overrated by the coaches!

I don’t really see much “hate” for Crawford.

I feel like most of the criticism he receives is because people think he is overpaid and just kind of a JAG.

Which I think is true.

I don’t hate Crawford. But I also don’t think he is anything more than a solid rotational player. As a fan I’m getting sick and tired of seeing the coaches and front office trying to rely on him as a starter.

I also am sick of the yearly “oh I was playing hurt” routine we hear at the end of every season.

Oh , the Irony!!!

And how many sacks does he have in his career? Hayden didn’t get in any trouble either

Typical short-sighted response from a fan who thinks sacks are the only factor that matters. Crawford led the team in pressures and QB hits in 2016, and was 2nd in both last season (to DLaw). He’s also very effective against the run.

OP is exactly right...he’s overpaid (slightly), but he is still a very valuable member of the DL. He takes far too much grief, considering how much he actually contributes.

You coming at other posters is hilarious. Hard to take you serious when under your profile pic you are praising a coward who took his own life.
Taking one's own life can be the act of a coward........hitler, himmler and others of the **** general staff (japanese, too), but certainly not in every instance. I personally have no desire to die sick and infirmed, or worse on a machine. Jmo, but individuals should have the right to end their lives at the time of their choosing.

With Irving gone for 4 expect to see Crawford back to 3tech. He doesnt provide the wrecking Irving does, but he provides stability in the middle.

I'll explain to a certain extent. He finessed them by appearing as a Good Guy, a hard worker who is injured from time to time, marrying so young to the right kind of girl & fraternizing with the powers that be in that organization. How else could u justify a perennial 3-4 sack D- lineman who gets injured a great deal& dosent have a ideal position been giving a contract extension in which he was getting 9-10 per season with his resume. Yeah he as the young kids say nowadays" finessed them"

This does not sound like justification to me. This sounds like a guy who is a good Dude. Has he ever been in trouble, going back to his College days? I honestly don't know but I don't recall any. Marrying the right girl, young or not is not a business decision, it's a life decision and I don't know how you blame a guy for that. Fratinernizing with "The Powers That Be" is who exactly? His contract was a team decision. They could have let him walk or they could signed him. They signed him and that's on the team, not the player.

You don't like the play, that's fine but the contract is not his fault and the decisions made by the team are not on him. That's on the team.

Oh , the Irony!!!

The Dak situation is nothing like the Crawford situation. Not in any way shape or form.

So, you trying to equate the two is just more uninformed nonsense.

Not surprising.

Oh I have a solution to the Crawford situation. How about he just voluntarily bench himself.

It's just that the feelings you have towards Crawford are the same feelings I have towards you know who...

So at least you know where I'm coming from..

Lol hey man at least we can agree on something.

I know where you’re coming from.

End of the day we both want what’s best for the team. So of course no hard feelings.
