Never understood the whole Witten is/was slow thing. We're seeing what slow looks like with Gathers.
Rico is long and has deceptive speed due to the length of his legs... Like TO.

Rico today would smoke today's JWitt in any race.

I could flip your words and say that I don't get how someone WOULDN'T be concerned about Dak. It's almost like they're not even watching the games.
No not even close. What I watched him do is set an all time NFL record for a rookie QB by throwing for 3667 yds, 24 TD’s, 4 int’s Voted rookie of the year a made the Pro Bowl. That’s what I watched.

We had a lot of things go right that season. But it's the underlying issues that rarely exposed themselves that had me concerned. And it went on full display in 2017. I can't even have confidence in our offense because of the passing game going into 2018. Regardless of the run game with Romo I never felt our offense would let us down. Surely you see where we come from?

I’m not exactly sure what your trying to say as I was talking about Dak and not anything or anyone else. For me, if I see a guy have a year like his rookie year it proves to me he can do it. I mean he already did it. Even last year with all the distractions and locker room cancer, Dak played about as well as any QB not named Brady could play. Jeez, he got sacked 6 times I think by the same dude in the Atlanta game. He had Dez demanding the ball, dropping the ball demanding the ball. He had a #1 WR play like crap. He played last year with a new RT, LG and LT for most of the year. He had no RB for 6 games and the rest of the games he was pouting and distracted and uninterested at times. Wouldn’t even try to make a tackle. Now you can blame the organization for a lot of that but you can’t blame Dak. Ever since that video of him came out throwing against that has been QB people want to say he’s inaccurate. BS. If that’s the case, where’s the has been QB playing? Dak is going to prove you and many others here wrong this year.

I guess you're going to forget/dismiss an entire 2017 season, then? Or at the very least, forget about the second half of 2017? Cool.

I can't do anything other than shake my head at what you wrote. I guess literally every WR/TE on the team lost their talent in 2017. Dak can/did no wrong.

I don't believe he ran a 4.43. I do think he probably still has some good speed.

He keeps himself in shape. That doesn't mean he would know how to keep other people in shape. Just because he knows what workouts help him doesn't mean he would know how to train linemen, linebackers and skill position players of varying shapes, sizes and genetics on how to be in the best of shape.
.
I would love to see a team within the NFC sign him. That would be one less team making the playoffs as they have to deal with the turmoil that Owens brings.
