Looks really tough to me. @ Car & @Sea with NY, Det and Jags at home .I could see a 2-4 start thinking 3-3 would be good.

And gets even tougher after Wash vs Tenn, at Phil and @ Atl all playoff teams. With NO and Phil following Wash again. That could easily be 4 or 5 more losses with 5 games in 7 weeks against playoff teams.

Fortunately ending with Indy, Tampa and NY looks more promising if we’re not already out of it.

It's a good schedule. It does happen to start off difficult, but that's in our favor. If the team can handle the adversity and string together some wins in September, then it'll be downhill thereafter. They get the Eagles at home after a long rest (TNF game) with the Eagles coming off a road MNF game. That's almost unheard of. And December is just set up for a streak leading into a deep playoff run.

And if we don’t get off to a good start ???

I was looking at schedules today with my buddy who is a Falcons fan. Atlanta's schedule looks pretty brutal. lol Dallas's looks tough too. Never know how the upcoming season shakes out though.

Can’t say I’m overly worried about any of the first 6 games, but I agree that we could easily lose any of them.
I think most of our toughest games are later.
At Atlanta
At Philly
Philly
New Orleans
At Wash
At NYG

Just for meaningless fun, I’d rank the first 6 (hardest 1st)
At Carolina
Jacksonville
At Houston
At Seattle
Detroit
New York

They win about 6 games this year. It is what it is. Shout out to the front office for letting the skill positions atrophy to this point with their stellar foresight and vision.

The schedule coming out of preseason will look different than it does in July.

Anyone else recall from 2016, after the Cowboys won their first game following the opening loss vs NYG, that every game thereafter was being cited as the “real test” for Dak?

Of course, after the Cowboys’ winning streak mounted, and as they beat each one of the “real test” teams, the wins were then being dismissed by many with, “Yeah, but _______really isn’t that good of a team.”
