Hmm, no Williams or Beasley.

Williams is still hurt. So I imagine that has something to do with it. The team probably prefers he stays back and spends time with the trainers rehabbing.

Beasley I’m not sure. He is married with two young kids. So he could just be spending as much time with possible with them before the grind of the season. It Would make sense, plus he has already had two years working with Dak. Unlike these guys.

Although I don’t know the marital/parental status of the guys that are there.

This season is either going to be a surprise or a fail with the receiving core. I just don't understand how they plan on retooling all of this in one offseason with a young qb.

On one hand....it can't be any worse than it was last season.......but goodness.

I just don't think our starters last year offered much of a threat anywhere on the field. It had gotten to a point where dez received single coverage on purpose because nobody respect him anymore. Beasley received dez double coverage load, witten became a statue, and twill and butler were pathetic. If anything we got better with hurns, Thomas, Austin, and the potential of gallup. And don't forget olawale being the best pass catching FB in FA that we have.

Not worried one bit about what they lost.

I dont' disagree. But if I take my rose colored glasses off and put down my kool aid......we are asking a lot of this receiving core......something that I don't think that has even been done in recent memory. I can't recall a young qb having his whole unit retooled and i'm assuming we are going to change the playbook some to. Its a lot of retooling to be done in one offseason. It worked last year with the secondary.

We are asking a rookie to be a top threat in this league at receiver. We are asking Hurns to be healthy which he hasn't been in awhile. We are asking Beasley to offer more than the 300 yards he gave us last year......we are asking Terrance Williams to be consistent. We are asking Deonte Thompson to simply give us SOMETHING. We are asking Tavon Austin......to give us 12-20 touches if i'm to believe Stephen.

There's a HUGE mystery there. If the unit performs....it defied the odds and did something that probably hasn't ever been done.
