Keep in mind that football is a team sport. Thus, Brees may have more playoff wins, yet it doesn't automatically= " Better".

In their prime, who would you rather have? Furthermore, who was better in your opinion?

I wanted Dallas to draft him in the second round but didn't make to Dallas and was all for signing Brees as a free agent or via a trade with SanDiego and I'm sure Miami isn't happy they passed on him over his shoulder issue....

I love Romo and hes way underrated here at CZ , really can be argued best qb in Cowboys history given numbers alone.. however Brees is a notch above..he just is..the touch and accuracy just nearly perfect..
Yup superbowl puts you a notch above. The story could've been different if Parcells would've stayed, or if Peyton had become the head coach here instead of going off to the Saints. Wade was a bad replacement for Parcells and such a promising 2007 Team that Parcells build up slid down. Coaching can be all the difference in how great a quarterback will be.

Romo would have been even better and have more accolades under Payton(especially in N.O.) for his career.

Hard to tell if Brees would have been Brees under Garrett and in Dallas.

With that said, I have to say Brees just because of their situations and schemes.

Brees was underrated but great in college, great with Chargers, let go because of shoulder injury, great in NO..hes hasn't been bad ever..sure coaching helps but he was destined the day he started his first game at QB..

Brees... because he got it done at the highest level and no one has to make excuses for him.

What happened is history; conjecture is bulls—t.
He got it done at the highest level when his pass attempts were at their lowest level of his Saints career. Less Brees is more, apparently.
