A few things to consider:
- How does Tavon Austin factor into the number of running backs the team keeps?
- That "tank that runs a 4.5 40" lasted until the Cowboys drafted him in the 7th round
- The Cowboys re-signed a guy they drafted in the 6th round that runs a 4.4 40.
I'm not saying that Scarbrough doesn't have a chance to make this roster, but that there are several factors involved that make it far from a lock. And that doesn't even go into what will likely be the key determining factor, whether or not he can contribute on special teams.
Like many of us, I'll be very interested to see what he can do during training camp and the preseason.
