You know I was kind of disappointed! I think I was expecting him to be like Brandon Jacobs and dump truck a few people.

A Brandon Jacobs type is what I was thinking too. He doesn’t appear to be that. Nor does he appear to have above average quickness. If that’s an accurate assessment his chances come down to a couple of things - reading blocks and making the right cuts, and versatility. The ability to catch passes and play special teams may have a lot to do with whether he makes the team.

I expected him to look bigger and more powerful than he did....he looked slow to me....was hoping more barber like

A lot of players look big and strong when playing against college competition. There was a reason he was drafted so late. To make the team, he will need to contribute on special teams. I know they had them on special teams in the first game.

Also, he was a part time RB in college, and might be injury prone.

I didn't watch him play in college as I don't watch college ball....but read a lot about him on here and leading up to the draft that gave me the impression he was a different type of player than I saw...but yeah he'll need to make on st also

Either Bo makes the team or we trade him for EThomas

SEA loves collecting RBs

People were wayyyyyy too hyped up about Bo after he was drafted.

It takes him awhile to build up any speed. Makes Derrick Henry look quick.
Accurate.

I don't see how Bo makes this team. Looks like a 7th round afterthought.

He was compared to Henry coming in, and never even came close to living up to it. Too slow to the hole to ever really be of consistent use.

I was shocked when I saw how slow to the hole he is. No wonder he slid to the 7th, and no wonder he wasn't well regarded and never had many carries.

On the one hand it is good we are talking about cutting guys like Bo, Rico, Lenoir, DJones, Tapper

It means we have a much deeper roster.......our cuts are going to make other squads

That means we need to work the trade phones first

Bo and Rico are going to have a career in the NFL..... if not with us then it will be with someone else

Like Marty B, DAmendola....... get something for them instead of a release

  • Nice jump-cut to make the MLB wiff on his long run
  • Moves fast for a man of his size
  • Was a leading receiver in Bama, so he can catch and run routes.

Scarborough looks like a beast. Its nice to have him. We are deep at RB. Darius Jackson looked sort if like zeke when we drafted him

He only caught 21 passes and for 131 yards (6.2 ypc average) in his 3 year career at Alabama

For his 1st game he played pretty well. Give Bo some time to get his timing down. I think he will improve enough to make the roster. He just needs more time with gary brown and the oline. He's a tad hesitant out of the gate which I'm sure will improve. He's got good vision running behind blockers and He'll look way better with the starting oline. All of our backs looked good but I bet Bo will make the team

Bo Scarbrough has “really embraced special teams”
Jason Garrett gave a great amount of time to discussing how much running back Bo Scarbrough has embraced special teams and even noted how difficult it can be for runners from schools like Alabama to do such a thing.

Typically players from big-time schools are used to that sort of thing, big-time usage. Bo is fighting for the team’s third running back spot and special teams are going to be a big component of that competition. It’s good to hear he’s doing well in it.
