If Dak can't throw, how do you explain 2016?

I was a member of the 3rd ACR, and their moto was: forged in fire, came out steel. So will the Cowboys progress from this first game. Hey, in boxing, if knocked on one's but...get up and mix it back up.

But there are 31 other teams who are seen on tape also. What makes us so different from them?

Not to mention a lot of those teams still succeed regardless of tape. The tape excuse has to stop.

See above, Romo coached/mentored DAK. There is so much a QB has to know, read defense, protections, plays etc. DAK had the best coach on the Cowboys team helping him. After Romo's departure....DAK was left to figure it out on his own = drop in performance

Romo on the Team = DAK Shined
Romo gone = DAK disappoints

Easy. No confidence.

He needs to literally see the WR open before making the throw. He’s not anticipating which is why he’s holding onto the ball too long.

Not blaming it all on him but it makes it all the more critical our receivers can run good routes and get separation. If they can’t, and Dak continues being the way he is, it’s going to be a long season.

If zeke was a crutch for dak in 2016, how do you explain week 1?
Fooled by randomness.

Also fun fact....Dak had exactly three 300 yard passing games in 2016. One of which was aided by an 80 yard screen pass to Zeke.

He wasn't asked to do much. And he did that well. The moment we've learned on him he's folded like a lawn chair.
