Im still not seeing it in this kid. Takes time or not, he just doesn't have IT. Kid gets pushed around badly all game long. The few plays he makes is when he is unblocked.

Thoughts?
This guy was a lick and a promise.

Needs to be released.

I wouldn't say Gregory was better than Lawrence.
Lawrence was largely a non-factor last Sunday, Gregory made a couple nice plays, one on a big third down in the first quarter, chasing down Watson from behind. Tied with most tackles, and solo tackles on the DL. The Dline played bad, regardless. Look, I'll admit I'm a bit let down right now, I wanted him to come out the gate like a monster, when that didn't happen, I would've hoped for a couple sacks by week 6 with several more splash plays, a great game etc... but I am hopeful, still.

No, Lawrence wasn't a factor, but he was double teamed every pass play. Gregory wasn't. When teams focus that much on stopping Gregory we have to have the other DE step up.

Lawrence wasn't a factor and Lawrence being double teamed and Gregory having a better game (isn't saying much, but you used Tank) can all be true. With that said, I agree with the rest.

the more snaps he gets the better he looks.
he's improved as a player from last season.
best part...he stays home at night.
he should be the least of our concerns...and one of the reasons to be excited about this young defense.

Yeah!!! Why didn’t they draft him? That kinda irritated me when he was there and they went with Taco instead.
You must be new here. That was covered in great detail.
That’s still dumb though. I trust a Watt like I do a Matthews name. You know those kind of people are going to produce.
You do know Watt has a bum knee that could end his career any game....right?

"I knew he had six sacks, so I knew I had to get at least one. Otherwise, I couldn't go back to my phone after that," J.J. said. "Then, I missed the one, so I was really pissed off."

J.J.'s only sack came late in the fourth quarter and ensured that there would be a tie atop the family and NFL sack leaderboard for at least one more week.

T.J. also had a three-sack performance in Week 1 against the Browns, and J.J. had three sacks in Week 3 against the Giants.
