Signing Dez for the remainder of the year. throw Dez, Amari, Beasley, Gallup and Austin when he gets back, teams wont be able to stack the line against Zeke....If this FO is really serious about turning this year around.

That’s gone now buts it’s the move we should’ve made.

Dez is better then Cooper and he costs nothing.

The front office are football morons.

I'm a huge Dez fan but I think bringing him now would create way too big of a circus and would take away from Amari Cooper's development/adjustment.

Now, if we win the next three or four games and are contending for the division, AND there's a need, I'd consider it.

Our O line won't give Dak the time to let these recievers get open. And our brilliant OC doesn't think having quick short passes as a part of the gameplan is a good idea.
Dak needs to get rid of the ball. #4 can't see the field that's why he's getting sacked, for holding on to the ball cause he lacks anticipation...a prerequisite for being a successful pro QB.

...by making sure that you line him up on Beasley’s side regularly, putting the safety in a bind that requires him to make a can’t-win decision: either choose to leave the CB one-on-one with Cooper with no help over the top so you can bracket Beasley or let Beasley devour your single coverage underneath.

Dez costing nothing (except salary) is definitely a plus, but I don't believe Dez is better than Cooper, and Cooper isn't the head case Dez is. Dez is taller and jumps higher. Cooper is faster and known as a precise route runner. And he's younger, so if the team can extend him he can be a longer term player. The first rounder is the issue, but otherwise I would rather have Cooper.

Dez is gone and not coming back.... his career is over! Thirty two teams have decided that he is not worthy of being signed. He is not better than Cooper, and hasn't been in 5 years. Get over it.....

Numbers dont lie... age is obvious, but numbers tell a different story. Look I understand cooper is a cowboy now and that immediately makes a lot of fans value him more.

Dez is better than Cooper. (Never mind that nobody else has bothered to sign him either.) And costless. (Maybe if you measure costs only in draft picks.)

Wow. Dude you’re becoming the king of bad takes.

In the past 3 years, Cooper has 2 1000 yard season and two pro bowls! You are right....

Dez and Romo are gone, they're not coming back! Move on......

I don’t believe Dez is better than Cooper at this point but I think the point of the OP is that we can have Dez for dirt cheap right now.

Having a guy like Cooper along with Gallup, Beasley, and possibly Dez? That’s a wideout group that will keep opposing D’s on their toes. Then add Zeke to the mix, that’s a pretty stout offense IMO.

This isn’t a Cooper vs. Dez debate.
