WR Noah Brown practicing for first time

I've heard this WR/TE thing before, but the dude has never taken a single snap at TE. No idea where that's coming from.

With the way we bring WRs inline to block with the Ts, even Cole is a TE. He's just not that good at the blocking part.

That's an interesting possibility. Brown is 6'2, 225 and probably has the frame to add 10-15 more pounds. That would make him about the size of a Jordan Reed-type TE. What it comes down to is if the Cowboys think Brown can have TE-type strength and if he can be fast enough at a heavier weight.

I would keep him at receiver. He can be a big possession guy to go along with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup's speed.

He's our new Vince Mayle. Much like our WR/RB hybrid, we want a TE/WR hybrid. We'll churn through players trying to get one.

What??

Why are you guys trying to rewrite the concept of football just to say Noah Brown is a TE?

Who? Oh, that guy.....ok....yawn....zzzzzzz.

Do not count out the WR from Boise State that got hurt prior to the season....that guy was a baller.

Don't care.

He is basically a blocker as a WR.

Unless we start running the ball more effectively, he has no utility.

Used like a TE by the coaches. Block inline, and go out on routes. Obviously Beasley doesn't have the functionality of a TE in blocking.

But Noah Brown is closer. I wouldn't bet a lot of money on Schultz being a more effective blocker right now.

See if he was worth all the hype

he'd be our best TE/WR....... way better Blake Jarwin, but our coaches dont have that type of imagination to use player personnel mismatches like that to win games when there are only 16 of them, as "Safe Garrett" says you know... but you know who am i

He better stay on the field if he wants to do something. Just straight up take someone’s job. So over the whole WR merry go round this year.

After some light reading ...

This Noah kid has 4 receptions for 33 yards in 13 games and one start .

That sux .

Doesn't matter...He blocks better than our TEs...and springs Zeke to the outside all the time. I can live w/ that.;)
